This is a welcoming and loving church. I attended the same sermon as what was described by the previous commentator - the sermon could not have been more loving and non-judgmental. In fact, it called out how Christians have treated people from the LGBTQ community in history, calling for more love and understanding. The traditional Biblical ethic on human sexuality challenges and convicts all people, both gay and straight to resist the flesh and ground their identity in Christ. Sex before marriage, looking at people with lust - these sexual ethics challenge everyone and don't discriminate against particular people groups. I know several LGBTQ Christians who attend CSC and feel just as welcome and just convicted as cisgender heterosexuals.
