Das Schweizer Kindermuseum in Baden AG thematisiert Kindheit, die Welt des Kindes und ihre Veränderungen durch die vergangenen Jahrhunderte bis in die Gegenwart. Anhand historischer Objekte, interaktiven Stationen und im gemeinsamen Spiel erleben kleine und grosse Gäste generationenübergreifend, wie sich das Leben der Kinder in den letzten 300 Jahren gewandelt hat. Es ist das einzige Museum in der Schweiz, das sich in dieser Form mit der Thematik «Kindheit» auseinandersetzt. In den Sonderausstellungen des Museums werden aktuelle Themen kindgerecht aufbereitet. Die kindliche Perspektive ist massgeblich für die Gestaltung der Ausstellungen. Auch hier werden Möglichkeiten zum Spielen, Ausprobieren und Experimentieren geboten.

Littéralement les pieds dans le Boiron de Morges, un des cours d’eau les plus étudiés de Suisse, La Maison de la Rivière attend les visiteurs en pleine nature, à deux pas du Léman. Dans l’exposition permanente, les disciplines se rencontrent : le sous-marin F.A.-Forel, construit par l’équipe de Jacques Piccard, et ayant servi à l’étude des fonds du Léman, côtoie par exemple des brochets vivants, une borne romaine millénaire et la haute technologie avec un des plus grands murs tactiles multitouch du monde. La visite se poursuit à l’extérieur avec un étang didactique, des nichoirs et des aquariums intégrés à la rivière proposant une vue plongeante sur la vie sauvage et ses habitants. Les enfants ne sont pas en reste, puisque Trutta, la mascotte malicieuse, les guide entre chaque poste, avec de nombreux jeux interactifs.
