Magnificent views from this castle. Also much interesting history around. The climb the castle is compulsory when visiting Scilla.

We have walked to the Norman Castello in Stilo a few times now and will probably do again when we go back to the south of Italy. It is a walk not for the faint hearted but well worth the effort as the views are stunning....virtually 360degrees. We also did a night walk to watch the sun rise.......it was a clear night and the stars were abundant/awe inspiring.....what a beautiful place to watch the sun come up.
