We had seats in the Pavilion on 26th, had a great time. Food was delicious, bar service efficient, waiters and betting staff were all friendly, everyone seemed to be having a good time. We made the mistake of trying to get a taxi out afterwards, the drivers keep their light out so that they are not obligated to pick up (drunk) passengers, so as the light fades it all becomes a bit of a farce. We should have taken the free shuttle out and then transfer back to the city centre.

My favourite part is interaction with the 'Bookies'. I am from Mallow but live in the US and there are no such thing in the USA. Also the quality of the horses, trainers and jockeys are outstanding. There are multiple areas to watch from and the excitement is always amazing. Always a great day or evening out and encompasses all ages. A great date night/afternoon, family event or friend time. Also can't fault the chips and ice cream..
