Encompassing two of the Netherlands’ three largest cities (Rotterdam and The Hague), Zuid-Holland (South Holland) is also home to important towns like Leiden, Gouda and Delft. And many lovely smaller towns dot the gorgeous green landscape. Alphen aan den Rijn has several interesting attractions, including Dutch history theme park Archeon. Picturesque Kinderdijk, birthplace of the legend of the Cat and the Cradle, also has many windmills that together are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I had a fine holiday in my mobile home. The village of Ouddorp is very near and had lots of shops and restaurants. The park is just a few steps from the beach. Friendly staff. I liked best the the quality of the caravan and ....the SEA

The site is on 15 minutes distance from Leiden, 30 minutes from The Hague and Delft and it is 40 minutes driving to Amsterdam. These cities can very easily be reached by train as well.In spring, you can enjoy millions of flowering bulbs in Keukenhof gardens. Keukenhof is only 20 minutes away by car! A nice bicycle ride along the bulb fields is also amazing. If you like to go to the beach and dunes, you can also ease your heart here. It is lovely to walk on the boulevard, sit on the beach or cycle through the dunes. The villages of Katwijk and Noordwijk are only 15 minutes away by car. Koningshof: delightful relaxation and enjoyment for active families as well as those seeking peace and quiet!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The well laid out camp has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the facilities were excellent. The shop and restaurant/cafe offer a good selection. The indoor and outdoor pools were the icing on the cake.

We brought our dog with us on a first holiday but unfortunately the garden of the house was not fenced off. In closer inspection, many houses didn't have fencing. We had to buy a camping tow to leash our dog outside. Another aspect I didn't like was that you couldn't really do your daily walks with the dog as there weren't enough green areas to walk. Within the park the roads are narrow and busy. Most people walked their dogs outside the park along a busy straight road and along a narrow green verge. You cannot eat at the restaurant with the dog, not even outside, only have drinks. Everywhere you go there are signs saying don't walk your dog here.

Lovely pool although deep 1.35m. Indoor play area was also good. Outside parks were really good even in the freezing cold wind the kids loved them. The ‘homes’, were so nice. Warm and everything you’d need. The lamps, cushions and throws were such a lovely touch. It didn’t feel generic at all. Everything we received from the company was in Dutch which is obviously expected but it meant it was hard to do the forms they asked for I had to google translate constantly. I was on my phone I think on a computer you can change the flag! The bar and subsequently the indoor play area isn’t open Monday’s and Tuesdays. I didn’t know this before and the reception was also closed a lot. That was a shame as we couldn’t get the information. You can’t walk to the beach. Even from the parking area it’s a hilly walk but it was beautiful! Overall it was lovely and we’d come again.

We have just returned from Weergors and what a fantastic peaceful place. The site is all about peace set a short walk from the stunning Hellevoetsuis town. We stayed in a 3 bedroom chalet which had all you need to cook and plenty of room in the open plan kithen, dinning room and lounge. There is a tv but no English channels which was not a problem. On site there i s a great restaurant where the food is outstanding, there was no English menu but they translated everything for us , all the staff are very friendly and the ones we spoke to all spoke English. We were on a fishing holiday so ideally placed for the Voorne canal.Bernisse System and the River Spui. The stunning town of Brielle is a short drive away and well worth a visit. Thank you for a fantastic stay Regards Neil Fallows

The 6 person Dune bungalows of the Molecaten park Noordduinen are very comfortable. They are also quite sustainable with a garden roof and a heat pump for heating. Reception is businesslike but efficient. Parking next to the house, the beach is 5 minutes walking.

Decided to stay here for three nights rather than book a hotel room which would have cost a similar amount, but you have the advantage of lots more space. We had room no 52 on the west side of the park. Accommodation in the area in summer is pretty pricey so this gave us both value for money and space. Accommodation has ok, one of the two bedrooms was pretty small but ok for a kid or two! Quiet park with no real facilities unlike other Landal parks, but that suited us.

Beach walks, cycling across the dunes, kite surfing, horseback riding, relaxing in front of the caravan with a book... A holiday at Strandcamping Zuidduinen offers endless possibilities! Both our standard and comfort pitches are suitable for all campers. If you do not have your own tent, camper van or caravan, then a Mobile Home, Campinghut, Safaritent or Coco Sweet might be an option for you. You will notice that the campsite is very peaceful. Your car may enter the grounds on arrival and departure only. After that, the large parking area at the entrance is at your disposal. There is parking for visitors just beyond the campsite. Pets are not allowed on the campsite and barbecues are only allowed on gas.
Despite being low season, we found this to be a stunning location and very clean reliable facilities. We were truly impressed in many ways and would definitely return. The Coco Sweet was cosy and ideal for our young family. Kids loved every aspect of camping life. Shops were not open everyday but the short walk to Katwijk town Centre meant this was not a problem
