Unforgettable stay in the jungle
Reviewed By 226jonnysThis was one of the standout parts of our trip around Colombia. The cabins are located within walking distance of the town but off the beaten track, so you feel like you're really staying in the jungle. We received a very warm welcome from the hosts, who immediately offered us a fresh fruit smoothie and sat down with us to point out various sites of interest on a map. The cabin itself was like a luxurious treehouse, with a very comfortable bed, a lovely balcony space and a spotlessly clean bathroom. It was a truly unforgettable experience to fall asleep with the sounds of the jungle all around us. In the morning, we were served a delicious breakfast on the reception terrace. The only possible downside to mention is that there's no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only in the reception area, but seriously, why would you need Wi-Fi in a place like this?!

Located 15 minutes from the main entrance to El Zaino, you will find our luxury accommodation. We have 14 ecohabs, 4 of them for couples and 10 for family and friends with a unique ocean view. Each Ecohab has a bathroom on the first level with hot water, a terrace with minibar, table and chairs and hammocks for your relaxation and connection with nature. The Superior Ecohabs have a double bed, ceiling fan, TV with DirecTv and spectacular views. Deluxe Ecohabs are larger and have the option to sleep up to 4 people in one queen bed and two single beds. Guests of the Ecohabs have access to the hotel's Jacuzzi and Turkish bath. We have 2 jacuzzis, one with a spectacular view from the top of the Tayrona and the other strategically located on the beach to enjoy the sound of the sea accompanied by the placid rest in the hanging bed. The hotel offers restaurant service with typical dishes of the region. We are waiting for you to enjoy individually, with your partner or with your family. We invite you to enjoy a unique experience with breakfast included!

Reviewed By leroyk738This review is to warn people aspiring to go here this year. I have tried to book by booking on their website, other websites, emailing and calling. Through the staff of the National Park (Tayrona) I finally found out the Ecohabs are closed throughout 2022. They did not specify why, I reckon it's construction work. Unfortunately they d not communicate this in any way

CasaGrande Surf & camping 5km from Tayrona National Park. Beach break for all levels, in front of camp. Long, sandy, palm lined, untouched beaches. Paradise place
Reviewed By alexandre dExcellent beachcamp with private cabanas right on the beach. JUst at the exit of Tayrona Park (10 min or so). you will find a very calm and peacefull environment, perfect to relax. However plan repelant for mosquitos. ALso the food is not cheap.

Reviewed By kandicelynneMagical relaxing place! All the way up in the forest, no bugs because the Echobas are very secure with screens and netting around the beds. Hot water!! Amazing service very friendly and helped us figure out everything! Could swing in hammocks there forever! Highly recommend any of the hammock waterfall places in town. They will tell you where and how to get there and arrange transport. They did our laundry and breakfast included was delicious and you got to walk thru the forest to get to their restaurant. We loved this place!

We are located in the foot hills of the Sierra Nevada surrounded by nature with animal encounters, collection of plants and lotus. This is a place to enjoy nature, relax and escape the stress and tourist track. Staying in very confortable bungalows, a tree house or a dorm all in a beautiful reserve. We have a restaurant, trekking possibilities and interesting tours.

Reviewed By 63maianI spent a week camping at Caoba and was difficult leaving such a charming spot. The owners and the stuff are amazingly kind and friendly. The reserve is crossed by a river where is possible to bath, has small trails in the nature and a spot for meditation. Meals are daily made, tasty and more than fairly priced. The reserve is next to an organic cacao farm and a permaculture community.

Keine Schränke. Kühlschrank und Fernseher vorhanden. Kein Internet. Frühstück reichlich. Das Übliche eben. Küche zum Kochen vorhanden. Möglichkeit essen zu bestellen. Personal bemüht und freundlich. Schöner Aufenthalt für nicht verwöhnte.

From the moment I got to our beach and private bungalow I knew that this place would be memorable for me and I wasn't wrong! Going to sleep in front of the beach and hearing the sound of the waves was rhe perfect holiday for me. The staff were so helpful and lovely and food was delicious. You have no access to the outside world as there is no mobile signal, Wi-Fi or electricity but you get to see a whole sky full of stars and a beautiful national park that is yours for a few nights. Simply incredible ?
