Been here 7 times with our motor-home between 2015 and 2019 - always a great pleasure meeting the family running the place . Indeed THE BEST CAMP_SITE IN BOSNIA. After driving 2100 km from Sweden to Foca (on the way down to Greece) it's really relaxing to enjoy a peaceful stay and a lovely dinner in their beautiful restaurant. Instead of driving "straight-motorway-down" to Greece we are always taking this interior Balkan route via Autocamp Drina in Foca. "It's a must". Hope to be there in summer 2020 too!

If you are interested in active vacation and you are looking for adrenaline rush than this is a place for you. Beautiful nature, rafting, excellent food and in the evening camp fire. What more do you need?! We offer you to experience white water rafting down the River Tara in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The River Tara runs through the largest canyon in Europe. It has over 50 rapids that are Class III and Class IV rapids. Nature is breathtaking and you will enjoy every bit of it. Our camp is the most modern camp. It is saturated outside city Foca just before Montenegro border. The accommodation in witch you will be staying are bungalows, and we also have restaurant that is built in a beautiful natural setting. All food is from the local people and is prepared on traditional way.
If you look for a mixture of adventure and apsolutly unique experience in nature, then TARA 87 is the place. There you will find everything, good food and extraordinary service, safe and friendly skippers. All recomendations for both individual stay as well as for team building program and group adventures.

Rafting Camp Encijan is a perfect place for lovers of rafting as it is located on the right side of river Tara, 40km southern from town Foca, on the state border with Montenegro. In the very heart of the Tara River Canyon, miles away from modern civilization and at the beginning of the most exciting rafting part of river, there is a place called Brstanovica and Camp Encijan on it, one of the most beautiful camps on Tara river and only one at the Bosnian side of river. Here is one of the last remaining oases of tranquility and hedonism... One of the first camps ever built on the banks of Tara River... Encijan is not just a camp, for nature lovers and people that love adventure, relaxing and getting away from civilization, Encijan represents one of the last remaining oases of peace in nature that is still not touched by human hand and they always and often come back. Due to our specific location and the fact that we are in the very heart of Tara River Canyon, at the starting point for rafting, we are simply unavoidable stop for all adventurists who cruise the Canyon searching for new adventure... Bungalows like old mountain cottages provide complete comfort and convenience, for a normal and uninterrupted stay in the untouched nature. Terrace above the river, scattered swings and chairs, Tara noise, magic silence.... Arranged beach for sunbathing and swimming, paths for hiking... These are all preconditions for a complete experience.
We were delighted first time we came here, and second we were overwhelmed again. Encijan is arranged and clean but still wild, without exaggerating - a real fairy tale. Tara, one of the most beautiful river I have ever seen, here is unreal, almost like emerald. People and service were excellent all the time and we felt like home. Just imagine yourself deep in the highest river canyon in Europe , surrounded with untouched nature and peace. One is for sure, this atmosphere and scene you will never forget. Unique place and people and much more :)

Staying at Stari Dud was the highlight of our Balkans trip. We pitched our tent under the stars, the hospitality was amazing and the food was even better. The family allowed us to camp for free and breakfast was included in the rafting price. The rafting was incredibly beautiful. Tame around this time of year (September), so more relaxing than adrenaline fuel but that was jus fine because the sights were remarkable. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Such a quaint and authentic place to stay.

Mountain camp with wooden bungalows.
Think of Zelenkovac as a community, not as a lodging or sleeping venue. It’s not a touristic place, but it’s raw beauty and nature are breathtaking and the people who are managing this place are true cosmopolitan artists. This is a place where you can gather around with people, have a nice laugh and sing and play music spontaneously. Don’t expect luxury, but you can count on amazing hospitality and wonderful people. I discovered this place accidentally, but it’ll stay in my heart forever and I’ll be returning, hopefully soon. PS: It’s one of the rare pet-friendly places, so my boyfriend and I have enjoyed our 7-day trip with our two orange tabbies, which also recommend this place :)

It is really perfect place for relaxing. In the middle of the mountain. Amaizing views and just perfect colour of the water. The only thing to put 4 stars was that I expected more adrenalin. It is rafting centre, but rafting was more like a boat trip. So this little nuance absolutely does not spoil the perfect time that we were there.
