Reviewed By Sheps5558Great facilities for kids with water slides,parks and an indoor pool. Close to town and you can walk it in about 20 minutes. Majority of the people on the site were French in fact we were the only British. Staff were friendly and helpful. They all spoke perfect English. Charlotte was really helpful when I had a problem with my car and she arranged for me to get to a local garage. I couldn’t explain rattling noises on the brakes in French! Great location and we were able to visit the whole of the Vendee from this location. We had a great time. Thanks!,

Reviewed By Jet788888Disappointing. This was our third visit to this campsite but will not be returning as the service was poor, less than half of the menu in the brasserie was available and the animation was bad. Such a shame.

Reviewed By Geoff IThe staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful as well as professional and efficient and speaking English as well as French. Accommodation is very clean and well-equipped our chalet was comfortable and provided all that we required and a comfortable and quiet night's sleep. A shaded/sheltered outdoor table and chairs as well as adequate indoor provision. Close proximity to a nature reserve means a gentle sandy walk in either direction to the uncrowded beaches which gives beautiful views as you make your way. A free local bus service also stops regularly outside the camp.The pool is beautifully maintained and perfect for all the family.

Stay on our Llama Farm in a Luxury 5m Lotus Belle Tent with a full size double bed and twin singles, Egyptian cotton bedding, towels, BBQ, outdoor kitchen, cooking equipment, utensils, plumbed in shower / toilets and much more. We are Glamping a la Ferme close to the beautiful town of Chateau-du-Loir. We have just 2 belle tents and a large outdoor pool. Our 17 acre Farm is made up of pasture, woodland and a lake. The farm is perfect for our small herd of 7 llamas, with 5 females and 2 trekking boys, we hope to be having Cria (baby Llamas) in 2020. We also have 3 hens and a cockerel called Clint! All our animals are free range and members of our family. (so not for eating!) We also have our 2 dogs Missy & Crumble, they love other dogs staying, we are most definitely Dog Friendly. Our guests are welcome to explore the woodland trails or spend time relaxing in the Loire Valley sunshine listening to the chatter of the Llama from right outside their tents!

Reviewed By 551katinkaaWe had a wonderful time on the farm. it's a magical place with great animals and loving people. the animals are doing very, very well there. The loving treatment of the llamas, goats, dogs and chickens shows that Sarah and Nigel run the farm with passion. our daughter had so much fun! especially with the two cute dogs and also the chickens, especially the pretty chicken Vanessa. the tents are super spacious, the beds are comfortable and everything is very neat and clean. the breakfast is delicious! we will be back for sure! this corner of paradise with such great people is pure relaxation.

Rave music all night long, come here if you don't want to sleep!
Reviewed By daniels6112018Rave music played until 6 am, impossible to sleep. It was offsite, but we were told this happens several times a month, that the police take no action, and that the owners/managers would do nothing about it. Shame because it was a nice campsite. Also a rather unfriendly woman came around in the morning and counted all the cutlery, furnishings, etc. before we were allowed to leave! This didn't make us feel very comfortable/welcome.

The site is very pleasant with plenty of trees in among the cabins and sufficient space between them not to feel too crowded. 10 minute walk to centre of village with bakery and supermarket, 10 minute drive to Saint Gilles Croix de Vie with supermarkets and excellent market on saturday morning

Good campsite
Reviewed By StationrdwestWe have just come back from staying at the campsite. The manager was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The site and facilities are clean and well maintained. Great walks and rides around the lake and of course, great access to Angers. Would love to go in the Summer with the pool open and get out in and on the lake.

You can choose to stay in your own caravan, motorhome or camp in a pitch of your choice. We welcome units of all shapes and sizes on our level lawned acre and a half.

Reviewed By Michiel HPerfect environment. Perfect hosts. A small scale, creative and cosy camping. Very beautiful and a perfect getaway. A vegetable garden, fresh herbs free of charge, a fire pit, a Nice bbq area,… Julian and Tina are wonderful people with a worderful project here on the french countryside.
