If you are looking for diversity, you will certainly find it in New Hampshire. From lakes to beaches, waterfalls to woods and mountains to sea coast, the state has huge potential for outdoor vacations, including downhill or cross-country skiing in winter. With no less than seventy-five state parks that offer natural areas, hiking trails, beaches and historic sites, New Hampshire caters for a variety of tastes. Crawford Notch State Park in Harts Location has picturesque waterfalls, wonderful mountain views and opportunities for viewing wildlife. You can go hiking and fishing there as well as pay a visit to the historic Willey House. Monadnock State Park, unlike some other state parks, is open all year round for hiking. Want to go swimming? You will find five state park beaches along the coast of New Hampshire, such as Wallis Sands with its view of the rocky Isles of Shoals. On North Hampton State Beach and Jenness Beach you can have a picnic as well as a swim. When you've finally had your fill of fresh air, head for the Museum of New Hampshire History in Concord with exhibits focusing on heritage and traditions; children should enjoy them just as much as adults.

Huttopia White Mountains is located in the heart of New Hampshire in a superb 50 acres lakefront forest. Stay in our wood and canvas tents and cabins, enjoy our heated swimming pool and Bistro and spend quality time with your loved ones in the Great Outdoors. The ideal basecamp to explore the White Mountains.
This was a fun experiences until..... they started to reduplicate charges 6 months after the visit, and a year after the vistit, and 3 years after the visit. We went there in 2019. We contacted them when we first saw the 6month transaction and they said it was a glitch in the system. That any card used for the food stand did not processed. Same thing with the2nd time the same amount was withdrew. and the 3rd time, I had to contact my bank to dispute those charges.

Cabin was super clean, warm, and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and staff were wonderful. Cabin has well equipped kitchen, oven and stove, microwave and fridge, WiFi , TV, and phone. There’s also an outdoor charcoal grill, but staying in mid December I passed on that. I’m looking forward to my next visit there.

Rustic and inviting 1 & 2 bedroom cabins nestled on the bank of the Pemigewasset River. We offer cozy fireplaces, 14 channels of HBO, many other channels as well as Wi-Fi. Our screen porches and decks overlook the river and several cabins have kitchens or kitchenettes. We are open year round and are pet friendly. The property has two outdoor community firepits and a small playground. Within walking distance to a water park, and a short drive to White Mountain National Forest and Franconia Notch State Park with endless hiking trails, a bike path, boat rentals, ski resorts that offer year-found activities, scenic drives, waterfalls, zip-line courses and performance theatres. In the winter we have direct access to NH snowmobile trails, guests may park their trailers on site. You can see Franconia Mountain Ridge from the property and hear the roaring Pemigewasset River.
First off- PET FRIENDLY. I’ve stayed here over 7x throughout the years. I’ve stayed here for memorial day weekend several times, New Year’s Eve.. and off season. I’ve made it a couples weekend. I’ve made it a weekend with friends celebrating a friend‘s 40th. It’s my place to stay when I go to the white mountains. my favorite part about the cabins are the porches that overlook the river. I’ve stayed in at least five different cabins. They are all cozy and clean. highly recommend this place. It’s the only place I will stay when I go to the white mountains.

Great cabins, a spectacular view, and warm northern hospitality! Located in New Hampshire's Great North Woods, we offer cozy, housekeeping cabins with a spectacular view of First Connecticut Lake and it's surrounding mountains. Each uniquely different, individual cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, one, two and three bedrooms, satellite television, outdoor grill during the summer months and private porches with great views. Our beautiful area is a favorite of many fishermen, hunters, snowmobilers, moose watchers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Explore the woods and waterways of the Great North Woods. Paddling, hiking, birding, fishing, moose watching and more! Kayak a watery moose meadow or spend the evening listening to the loons call to each over the moonlit lake.
We rode in from Berlin NH on atv's. Great location offering everything you would ever need. Close to town for supplies, yet in a country setting. The only suggestion i could offer would be better trail signage or markings on the atv map. Looking forward to next year's trip already!

I love this place. There is no were else I can get a good night sleep. Listening to the water from the river below is so soothing. You have everything you would need in the cabin and it is reasonably priced. I would recommend this property for a quick getaway or even a longer stay. We were afraid that once the property sold that it may not have the same vibe but it does and the owners do get back to you on any requests.

Sandy Beach has long been one of the premier RV campsites in the whole state. Situated among stately pines, overlooking a picturesque New England spring-fed lake, it has also been one of the best kept secrets in New Hampshire for RVs, Popups and Tents. -
Tina went out of her way to assist us after hours with check-in and wood. The campground is clean and landscaped. The sites are spacious. The campground is close to town. Being off the beaten path, the campground is very quiet of traffic noise.

Lost River Campground is set on 180 acres in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest. We are right in the middle of all the attractions in the White Mountains and can accommodate tents, pop ups, trailers and motorhomes. Camping cabins can sleep up to four in the one room or up to 6 in the two room cabins. Many sites are right next to either the Lost River or Walker Brook. Seasonal sites are also available with beautiful mountain top views.
This is a well run beautiful campground. A little about us. My wife and I are in our 60’s an still enjoy tent camping. My sister who camped with us has a 30 foot trailer. As much as they love their trailer they really dislike “RV” parks. We enjoyed this park immensely . It suited us. It is hard to find this combination . Normally my wife and I camp at State Park and National Park campgrounds . It is an older campground . The current owners have maintained it well and indeed after talking with the owner on check out day found that they have made significant up grades to the infrastructure and still are. This is a family campground. There were lots of kids and dogs ( I have neither). It’s is very dog friendly. I was surprised at how well behaved the kids and dogs were. Having fun but unobtrusive. Kudos to the parents and dog owners. Often I find that is not the case. The sites vary in size and privacy . Almost all have water on site, most trailer sites have electric as well and a few (very few ) have sewer. The sites are quite level, clean and free of major obstructions, we have a 14x12 tent and camped on site 85 next to the river. The river front sites are nice, some suitable for trailers, others are tent only. Some sites are quite spacious , others can be small. Make sure you inquire before reserving if you have an RV or large tent. The roads are narrow and there are lots of trees (all positives in my book). You may have issues navigating with a large RV depending on your skills. The water quality is excellent. Bathroom facilities are older but clean and well maintained. There are dishwashing sinks available. The camp store is well stocked with a variety of camping equipment, food, snacks , kids toys, and some beer/cider. The firewood for sale at the store is excellent quality and is all hardwood. I found a lot of the local firewood stands near the campground were cheaper, but mostly softwood. Fine for the campfire but not so good for cooking. The small pond and playground are on the opposite slide of the road and suitable for children to have a little fun . It is small and not a major attraction. The staff , from the maintenance people, the management and the camp store were friendly, knowledgeable and just plain making sure your stay was as enjoyable as possible . Rules are strictly enforced . Good thing ! If you want to party this is probably not a good fit. It is a great place for families and friends to unwind and enjoy some peaceful time together and enjoy the outdoors.

Come experience pristine camping with our river at your feet and the scenic White Mountains as your backdrop. Only minutes to Franconia Notch and White Mountains attractions, Fransted is situated on 45 acres of beautiful natural forestland with a crystal clear mountain brook running through it. We offer many types of campsites for your camping pleasure, including 4-way hook-ups, pull-thrus, riverfront, wooded, and private sites accommodating RV’s, pop-ups, and tenting. We are passionate about the quality and cleanliness of our facilities and campground. Enjoy free showers and Wi-Fi at the campground.
We stayed 3 nights, have a 32 ft motor home, booking was easy, pre registration was easy, and when we arrived Friday night they were so well organized, we waltzed right in. Great spot in front, large site, easy to pull into. We really enjoyed the quaintness of the grounds, small, clean, quiet...great trails right on site to explore, small river to cool you off, and getting firewood delivered was nice touch. We will be back, had such a positive, refreshing, and relaxing stay!!

Cold Spring RV/Campground claims to be pet friendly but don't let this lie fool you. The owner ran up to my family walking our dog and claimed he looked “too much like a pitbull”. He said he does not allow pitbulls in his campground even though his paperwork says he is a mixed breed. I tried to cancel my future reservation and now they want a cancellation fee. It's disgusting that in 2021, people are still discriminating against dogs based on their looks and using; “insurance purposes” as an excuse. 0/5 stars on service that only cares about money and not a family fun atmosphere.
