Moody Beach RV Camping is a beautifully wooded RV camp in Maine, located on the southeast coast just minutes from the shores of Ogunquit Beach. You can enjoy whale watching, deep-sea fishing in the Atlantic, shopping, hiking, great seafood and a variety of other local attractions! If you've never been to Maine, you're missing one of the most picturesque areas of the country. When you stay at Moody Beach and its RV camping sites, you can walk along the beach, smell the fresh salt air and relax in the easy charm of coastal living. Here at our RV resort in coastal Maine, we have tent sites, full hook-up pull-thru sites or rentals available for all of your vacation needs.
The facilities were dirty and disgusting. The showers were cold and the floors in the bathroom were muddy and gross all weekend. And there is no quiet time with other campers blaring music and yelling until we’ll after midnight.

Amazing place!! Went off-season so it was quiet. The place was so clean. Staff so friendly and courteous. Tents are facing away from each other which offers great privacy. The pond is gorgeous and so clean. Missed the option to take a canoe ride but ran out of time. Definitely will be back with my family!

Robinson's Cottages has been owned and operated by the Robinson family for 4 generations. The first cottage was built in 1920. Currently, my husband Bill and I run the cottages. There are 6 cottages - 3 on the Dennys River, 3 on Robinson's Pond. All cottages are made from hand-hewn logs harvested from the surrounding area. The current cottages were built in the 1950's and 60's. All have modern appliances and amenities. Nestled in the heart of Downeast Maine, our cottages are a peaceful retreat. You can enjoy fishing, canoeing, swimming and more. We are within 30 minutes from a variety of coastal towns as well as New Brunswick, Canada.
Just spent the weekend in cabin #1 and loved, loved, loved it!! The screened in porch overlooking the river was probably the best part and where we hung out the most. It was super hot when we arrived but all the windows had been opened before we arrived which we really appreciated, but even with the heat the porch was perfect. Had a fire in the fireplace Saturday night - how could you not - and it was just lovely. It really did look like the pictures which is always a pleasant surprise. Everything was very comfortable and clean and had everything you needed, another pleasant surprise! Went kayaking and swimming, really appreciated having the use of the kayak and canoes. You could really tell that cabin had been used and loved! Thanks so much, we'll be back!!

We thought it was a nice place with a nice and interesting name. Maybe their other products are good, but not the rooms! It’s filthy, uncomfortable and smelly. We book directly and when we arrived it was not what we expected, bedroom on one side of the house, you had to cross the kitchen on another level to go to the bathroom, cats and flies all over. We decided not to stay and asked for a refund to the person in charge. He told us he could not help us, and gave us the phone of the owner to whom we called many times without answer or at least a voice mail to leave a message. So we had to pay our stay at another hotel we found close by. Don’t stay here!

Was war toll?

Acadia Cottages is located on Mount Desert Island surrounded by Acadia National Park. Tucked away beneath a tranquil forest canopy, Acadia Cottages offers privacy yet it is within walking distance of the village of Southwest Harbor including its many charming restaurants and shops. Laurie & John Bumpus look forward to welcoming you and helping to provide an ideal base from which to explore Acadia National Park, nearby Bar Harbor and other island attractions and activities. Stay for two nights or two weeks. Your choice!
We stayed at Acadia Cottages for a couple of nights on our way back from Saint Andrews, NB. We were so impressed with how clean and well stocked the cabins were for our stay. The owners, Laurie and John, are super friendly and helpful. It is obvious that their mission is to ensure their gusts have a great time and are comfortable. I love that they provide portable grills and backpacks for guests to borrow. The cabins are in a great location to walk to area restaurants and there are several great hiking trails and parks on the "quiet side" if you do not want to fight the traffic during the season at Acadia NP.

Beautiful vacation rental log cabins on Moosehead Lake. Breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Either a gas or wood fireplace in every cabin. Outdoor campfire area. Jacuzzi bathtubs. Luxurious comforters to curl up in on a crisp fall or winter night. Moose & wildlife tours; hiking; snowmobiling; kayaking; canoeing, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, swimming, white water rafting, and onsite massages. Waterfront on Moosehead Lake and Loon Lake. A wilderness treasure you won't find anywhere else!
We first stayed at Moosehead Hills Cabins 15 years ago and had a wonderful time. The owners welcomed us warmly and with the little extras that make the stay extra special. I don’t know why we let life get in the way to not return for so long. This time, we were welcomed just as warmly and the owners even left a special treat for our dog on her first vacation. The cabin was again as cozy and comfortable as we remember and had everything we needed. The view and grounds were also as amazing as we remember. We had a great week and definitely don’t plan on waiting so long for a return stay.

The general store has yummy breakfast sandwiches and anything you might need. The campground is close to downtown Kennebunkport and about 40 minutes from Portland. We hope to return next summer!

Located on the shore of Long Pond near Greenville, in Maine’s Moosehead Lake Region, and surrounded by 66,000-acres of AMC-owned conservation land, Gorman Chairback is the newest stop on AMC’s popular lodge-to-lodge ski route, as well as a spectacular wilderness destination on its own. Gorman Chairback offers unlimited opportunities for hiking and skiing on 70 miles of AMC-maintained trails, paddling and fishing for native brook trout, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the region. Newly refurbished private cabins include queen beds, wood stoves, and gas lamps. Home-cooked meals are served in the main lodge.
We spent three days and two nights at Gorman Chairback just a week ago. The cabin was a unique octagonal structure at the pond's edge just down from the lodge. Absolutely beautiful-- ducks swimming, loons calling and the wind soughing through the trees. The lodge staff provided wonderful meals, with breakfast and dinner in the lodge--buffet stylel for more Covid safety-- and bagged lunches prepared to take on daily outings. We hiked up to Third Mt and back, an easy to moderate 5.5 roundtrip hike, perfect for a couple of 74 year olds! The remainder of the trip was sitting on the shore and reading, while basking in the sun and enjoying the serenity of the Maine woods
