The place is very nice, good view of the river and historical bridge near a cliff by the river. Room and landscape are well maintained. There are adventure park inside but probably not included in the room rate. Food and service is average. Could be better. Better have dinner somewhere else. Raft room by the river don’t have bathroom. A bit of a hassle during the night.

We had a very good time here. The staff are great and the food was of good quality and tasty. I would recommend this place even if you were to stay one night. Although it is out of town we rented a motorbike and made our way there. There were lots of different types of accomodations each with thier own style. The place was fully booked every for the three night tha stayed but it was still peaceful and relaxing. Thanks!

Hintok River Camp at Hellfire Pass is an exceptionally safari tented camp resort 'Glamping' stunningly located on a upon the pinnacle of Hintok mountain in Kanchanaburi, Thailand where the historical river, River Kwai runs through.
We did a 2 night/3 day trip from Bangkok. Excellent guides (Lam and Sam) who took care of us very professionally. Sam was on the transfers and Lam at the camp. Lam provided us with lots of information on the area and local knowledge was extensive. Both spoke very good English Tent was very comfortable. We had no issues with hot water or WiFi as mentioned in other reviews but the camp was very quiet with few guests when we were there Food was excellent quality and plentiful. My only comment would be if anything there was too much food !! Would highly recommend

From the time we arrived to the time we left I was impressed with the customer service and professional staff. FYI for the intrepid traveller - This is what we would call a motel in Australia, but it puts a lot of our Motels to shame. The beds are designed for the Thai people...large and hard but the price and everything else is worth it. The cleanliness was of the highest standard. The security was brilliant. The staff were helpfull and the lady in charge was excellent. There is a great place to eat about 100m away or you can get room service for a couple extra baht. We stayed twice in December and I was more than impressed with the set up. There are car parks undercover right next to your room. I highly recommend this place. Just one thing - get a can of mozzie spray to spray room at night as the rooms are aired during the day and the little buggers move in lol but its not a big problem.

This time we only ate at the restaurant, but the next trip we'll stay here because we were so impressed with the warm hospitality we received. Regarding the restaurant the food was so good that we came back again the next day. The view of the Mon Bridge from the deck is superb. The property is lovely, clean and well maintained. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. We'll be back soon!

We stayed for 1 night on Saturday as the location was very convenient for us. We booked a room for 3 and got a double bed plus a mattress on the floor with a towel as cover. THB 1400 is massively overpriced, the place was in a shabby condition. We unfortunately didn't know that there were all those Disco Boats on that stretch of the river. The noise was devastatingly loud (the mirror in our room fell down because of the vibrations). We were told that they would stop before midnight so (because the location was so convenient for us) we decided to stay and went for dinner to town. Upon returning the noise from those party boats was almost unbearable and fortunately they stopped around 11:30pm. HOWEVER, the guys on the boats would continue talking very loud (their ears, of course, must have been wasted) and wouldn't stop all night. When we got up the next morning just after 6am they were still talking loud and drinking. When we left around 09:30am the noisy music had already restarted. The owner didn't care, so unless you want to party to the point of permanently damaging your ears, my humble view is to STAY AWAY! Also noteworthy, this place is right next to the well kept Chong Kai Allied War Cemetery... I find it a pity that a place with such nice surroundings, directly at the river, is so badly treated. We will of course never go back. Kanchanaburi, however, offers plenty of decent accommodation options for our next time.
