Yurt camp Meiman Ordo is a campsite with barbecue facilities and free WiFi situated in Bokonbayevo. Guests can also relax in the garden.
We are a family of 5. When we visited in August 2019 oir kids were 10, 8 and 5 years old. We stayed in one of the yurts. In our yurt we slept on the ground whch was not always the best idea with small kids due to the beetles. We loved swimming in this part of Issykkul which is definately better than the north shore. The owner also allowed us to build a camp fire on the beach which we gladly did every night. Other than that the camp is really basic. There are no facilities for children, the toilet house is basic but clean and the canteen has a fridge abd the posibility of eating. The wifi signal is really poor and can only be used in the canteen when not too busy. Food is basic but ok. People are friendly. There are no shops around. A lical taxi to Bokonvaevo will cost around 200 som. The kids lived staying in a yurt and had a blast.

Bel Tam is a beautiful yurt camp and is an excellent place to experience the gorgeous scenery of Kyrgyzstan. The staff are professional and speak English which is helpful for those of us that don't speak Russian or Kyrgyz. They have nice clean showers with hot water and flush toilets! A bonus for sure! The Yurts are clean, cozy, and comfortable. If you go to be early or need a good night's sleep you might want to request a yurt a bit further away from the "center" of the camp and guests like to congregate around the camp fire and talk loudly till quite late. The main Yurt (dining Yurt) is so beautiful and the food was amazing. Thank you Bel Tam!

Yurt Camp Almaluu has all facilities necessary for the Camp - multiple toilets, washing facilities, showeres with hot water and even sauna. The yurts are equiped with two- three beds, electric light and two plugs for connection of electronic devices. The doors are wooden with locking possibility. The main yurt - the restaurant - is large enough to accommodate around 30 guests, the food was good and the service quick. Staff was very kind and helpful. Free wifi was good when it was working, but it was dropping out rather often. The lake shore is not really near, so we drove there.

Even though the yurt camp is in the middle of nowhere, it is expertly furnished. Delicious food prepared by the most amazing hosts in a specious well designed/decorated central space. Running water in the very nice bathrooms a short distance from the yurts. Electricity for three hours a night with charging available. And beautiful sunsets, the lake that feels private a few minutes walk to the shore. Very comfortable beds and pillows in the yurts. Stars galore. An amazing place to unwind amongst canyons, the lake, and silence. Be warned, the access road is an adventure, but this adds to the charm and seclusion. Highly recommend for a unwinding experience or as part of a FeelNomad tour company tour. It will be a highlight. It was for us.
