Reviewed By flyjewelleryWe Arrived at camping la Dune to a really clean mobile and friendly staff. We were close to the kids area and swimming pool. It was nice that you had to park your car at the close car parks as no traffic past the mobile. Had a lovely chilled holiday . I would return here. It was also a lot cheaper than other sites we looked at

Quiet camping
Reviewed By Lukas FPerfect stay, friendly staff, a very small camping to the French measures. We were there with our four kids and really appreciated the proximity of the beach, the always tidy “sanitaires”, the shaded place for the tent and the ice cream at the reception.

Reviewed By AntonsmamaEstablished, small, quiet site mainly long term caravans or motor homes. Friendly staff. Very reasonable rates. Facilities are desperately in need of refurbishment. Loos and showers are in a neglected state. No toilet paper, soap or dryers. Very basic but fairly clean.

Enjoyable family break
Reviewed By Vacation37149118094My family visited at the start of the Easter holidays. The resort had only just opened so there were lots of things that were not open (supermarket, adults pool, shops and restaurants) that’s why we have given it a 4. On the whole the holiday was brilliant. The resort is lovely and clean with plenty of activities for families. Our highlight of the holiday was the nightly entertainment for the children (we have 3 aged 5, 8 and 10) that loved the mini disco. The animation team were excellent. They were friendly, enthusiastic and encouraged everyone to join in. They speak in multiple languages and cater for everyone. Nico and his team couldn’t do enough for us and went out of their way to speak to us every time they saw us around the resort, even when they weren’t on duty. We would recommend and hope to visit again.

Reviewed By Michael WFirst of all, minimum stay is two nights, the price per night 65€!!!! When we said that we will just leave then they changed thier mind and said ok for one night. We have a motorhome of 8.5m lengh and it was just possible to get to the pitch! Parked cars eveywhere and very narrow ”streets”. All campings that we have visited in France is below the standard in booth Germany and Spain but this one took the place as the worst when considering service, qualiry and price! Will not recomend this camping!

The entertainment was great & all 3 of my children aged 7-14 were kept happy in the clubs & quickly made friends. The food at the pool bar area is good-especially the pizzas. Our mobile home was in a great condition & the air con was a treat from the heat. We can’t wait to return!

A place in paradise!
Reviewed By Edwin LThis is our third visit to La Carabasse it is certainly won't be our last. We have been in the fortunate position of visiting during the busy Summer period and the much quieter period during September. Both are noticably different and will satisy different needs. This is an amazing venue, which is well managed by Siblu. Their first priority is clealry their guests, for which nothing is too much trouble. The vast majority of staff never fail to smile as they pass you, which adds the the friendliness of the venue. Ground staff are out working ealry in the morning sweeping the drives, and whilst the side roads are rustic they are safe and well managed. The swimming pool is the best in the area and spotless at all times. The entertainment is first class and bars and other venues are reasonably priced. There is such a lot to see outside the venue, be it the 'strip' where there are so many shops and places to eat and an amazing never ending beach with deep blue sea. The village of Vias is a short walk away, which is so welcoming. Led by Lisa in the owners' office, the team there are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back and highly recommend you seek this place in paradise out!

Let me start with the good things first. - The receptionist was very friendly and took her time to explain evertything; - The house is tidy & neat, - It's a nice swimming pool for the children. Please accept a few points of improvements - As the main swimming pool has some slides and tubes meant for children, I think it is something to consider to have it heated. Children come out shivering.. You might suggest a swimming pool inside, but there are no big slides nor tubes, so that's not an argument. - I understand that people like going out and have a great time, but there are a lot of people with children that like to have a good night sleep as well. Noises after midnight are something to be taken care of. Honestly, it's hard to get a good night sleep with all the noises still after midnight. - When we arrived, it was quite late, I understand that all tables were booked, but there was not alternative suggested. I've worked in a restaurant too, client-oriented service is something highly appreciated. They could have suggest us coming back in xx hour or time. Or even suggesting a take-away. "No, we're full" was the only sentence we got. These improvements are really minor and could have a great impact on people who pay a lot for a house. I'm not sure I will be back, though it's a nice area.

Amazing experience
Reviewed By 7AOShI stayed in one of cabins with my kids aged 4 and 6, and it was wonderful to see how happy they were as I kept the destination secret until we arrived to the actual tree house. It exceeded all our expectations and we all absolutely loved it - a cabin in a tree is such a simple concept and so beautifully made, it will stay with us for a long time as a lovely memory. The staff were very welcoming and really accommodating given that I had two kids to manage. The kids loved interacting with the animals, and the forest walk was lovely too. We were also lucky enough to see a concert as part of the wine-testing festival that took place on the premises the same weekend. I highly recommend it for a special occasion!!

Very friendly site every body says hello in passing, The site facilities are very good and the pool is excellent. We stayed in a lodge with 2 bedrooms a little small but nice outside decking area well equipped with all your needs.
