The third-largest of Germany’s 16 provinces both in terms of size and population, Baden-Wurttemberg in the country’s southwest borders both France and Switzerland and is home to the Black Forest, Heidelberg, Mannheim and Stuttgart. In many areas, residents speak Swabian (Schwäbisch) or Badisch, dialects so strong that speakers of standard German can find them difficult to understand. With over 40 million annual overnight stays, Baden-Wurttemberg is second only to Bavaria in terms of visitors.

We stayed here for 6 days and really fell in love with this campsite. When we first arrived, although the staff were really friendly, we were a little disappointed. The pitch was small (although we were given the choice of 3), our electric cable was only just long enough and much to our dismay there was no pool. We had had a stressful journey due to our oldest son having a sickness bug and arrived, hot, tired and hungry. It was a Sunday so all local shops were shut and there was only one choice of meal served at the restaurant. We made do with some crisps and fizzy sold at the little cafe. At this point I was ready to leave. However we woke the next day and collected our delicious croissants from the cafe. We had a hot and very warm shower and felt better. We soon realised just how lovely the site was. It’s so close to so many amenities, the towns outdoor pool is only a ten minute cycle ride away, it was cheap and wonderful. We spent many happy hours cycling and trekking through the forest (including a cycle to see Germany’s tallest tree). The local town is very pretty and the city park is a lovely way to spend a few hours. The camp site is immaculate and the coffee and cake in the cafe is lovely! We also used the spa in the hotel next door (you get a discount) which was very traditional (it is a full nude spa though) and has a nice pool. The only thing missing was a pool for the kids.

This is a family friendly camping. But one thing is missing, they don‘t have a hair dryer in the bathroom. We have already been to 3 and 4 stars camping and they have Föhn in the bathroom. It‘s only the bathroom Putzfrau that I found unfriendly.

We stayed in one of the Komfort Mobilheims and it did not disappoint. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and was well equipped. Our two young boys loved the swimming pool on site and the arrangements for this were well organised and other guests were considerate of other people wanting to use the pool and kept to their allotted time. The playgrounds onsite were great and our boys aged 9 and 6 loved playing on these and even though the site was quite busy during our stay, the playgrounds were never overly busy. The staff at Wirthshof are very friendly and the steps that had been taken by the company to adapt to the health and safety requirements of the pandemic certainly helped to make our stay an enjoyable one. Fantastic base from which to explore Lake Konstanz and the surrounding area.

The camping and caravan park Muellerwiese is a smaller and peaceful campsite within the nature reserve Black Forest. It is situated in the center of the climatic health resort Enzklosterle and stretches along the little mountain brook "Enz". On the camping ground you will find a caravan and camper area as well as a car-free tentsite (tents are also allowed on the caravan area where cars can be parked nearby the tent). We are offering also a few hire cabins and holiday apartments. Shops and restaurants are to reach by foot in 5 minutes as well as the tourist office, the spa gardens and the adventure minigolf park. Nearby there are the following interesting things
The campsite was quite big, with a playground for kids and plenty of grass to run around on. We were there in the late season, so we got even more space. The local bakery and restaurants are about a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Lovely quiet campsite in an idyllic setting, sourrounded by madows and forest - yet in the city - 20 walking-minutes to romantic downtown of Freiburg. With all modern ammeneties, pitches for mobiles, caravans, camper vans or tents, rental caravans and rental tents in summer, open all year around, restaurant with beer garden nearby, breakfast-buffet during the season, rental bikes, WIFI 1h/day free, bus stop at the side, tram stop 6 min walking. Right behind the camp ground start of 6 hiking trails, some of them long distance, 800 miles of trails within the greater city limits, the southern Black Forest ideal for MTB, Hiking, Biking, skiing... Not far to the famous Europa-Park - the Alsac, the Rhein-Falls, France and Switzerland.
Intended to spend 12 nights here but in finding the pitch they choose for use cut down the stay dramatically. Very small pitch, Van's pitched less than 3mts away & then surrounded by VW campers & cars. So close they were touching us when walking past! Facilities though were excellent & an easy walk into the city.

Outstanding and friendly service at this lovely picturesque camp site. Great well laid out hiking trails in the Black Forest directly from your site, and we have a bubbling stream right behind us. Nearby town had great restaurants and supermarkets for provisions. Highly recommend

Thanks for dropping by. We would like to introduce ourselves: In March 2013, we, Priska and Vinzenz Blum, fulfilled a long-held dream and took over the wonderful campsite on the river Kinzig. Together with our small team, we want to offer our guests an unforgettable and relaxing holiday and wish you also joy today.
We stayed for two nights and loved it! We had pitch 14 and it was perfect for our campervan. Close to the bar and restaurant with easy access to the showers/toilets. Owners are excellent and friendly they also gave us transport passes to get around using the trains, with your bikes! This was excellent for us and we used this with our bikes too! Definitely worth a stay, good beer on tap and a great view from the terrace.

Campsite near the Black Forest, France and Switzerland, near Basel. Quiet location in a huge park with a lake, lots of nature, rose garden, adventure playgrounds and sports facilities. An attractive swimming pool and the city of Lörrach can be reached in a few minutes. Camping on grass with sunny and shady places. There are renovated sanitary facilities, WiFi, a camping restaurant. Guest can also rent Wooden barrels and a wooden barrel as small holdiday home. Many attractive destinations in 3 countries!
Fabulous Campsite, Great Facilities, just not for me. I was backpacking with a single tent and paid €22 for one night with no electricity. This did include 5 hours 4G wifi, but without a way of charging the devices, this was difficult.

We returned here for the third time as we know this is a lovely site which has a brilliant pool next door. We booked with Eurocamp and have always found the accommodation fine and the staff friendly. I must admit the chalet was a bit worn this time but clean. At top of quite a steep hill but you can take your car up there. Covid 19 restrictions meant that the pool had to be pre-booked but this was no problem - we easily booked the 2 sessions (5 hours each) for every day we were there. £2 per person. Under 10s free. A bargain for such a fantastic pool. Site owners happy to print off tickets at no charge. (Surprised to see negative comments from other reviewers - always been very friendly to my family). Supermarket 10 min walk away. Nice ice-cream parlours and restaurants in the village. Europa parc 15 minute drive away. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
