We are happy to welcome you to our campsite. Open from 30th March to 6th November 2018. Come and spend your holidays near the Cap-Ferret peninsula, between the beaches of the Arcachon Bay (Bassin d’Arcachon) and the Atlantic Ocean. Set in the heart of a pine forest which covers 2.5 ha, you will be able to share in our passion for nature. Our 64 shaded pitches are in perfect harmony with the many different species of trees present on the campsite. In this 100 % natural environment , each pitch is over 125 m² in size . It is important to us that our campers feel at home. Our reception is based in an old barn ,typical of the Cap Ferret region. With this natural setting , your comfort and tranquility are guaranteed.
We stayed in one of the wooden cabins for 2 nights. Easy to find, and located in a quiet area. We've found noise to be a problem at many other sites nearer the beaches. This was perfect. Cabin was fully equipped and in excellent condition. Very clean. We went out of season so there were only around half a dozen other couples there. Plenty of trees and hedges to separate plots. Our cabin had its own shower and toilet so we cannot comment on the communal services. There is a communal lounge available with tv, sofas, books, internet access, games for children, dining tables and tea/coffee making facilities. We found the Wifi reached our cabin anyway which was great. There is a snack bar but don't think it was open when we were there. You can order croissants and bread for the following day from the office. Only a 5 minute drive from Lidl and L'Eclerc supermarkets. We took our own deckchairs for lounging in and our own bedding/towels. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Espace Blue Océan is a beautiful eco-resort between Biarritz and Hossegor, less than a mile from a magnificent beach, which you reach thru a unique forest path. It stands in the calm of a protected pine forest. Blue Océan has ist own surfing academy, its circus school. It offers multiple other activities: horse riding, biking, yoga, pilates, VTT, hiking, and nearby (100 yards) a skate park, a city stadium and a mini-golf. The Kid's club and the Teen's club draw the enthusiasm of the youngers while the parents enjoy themselves. A heated, salted beautiful pool, the snack bar , the restaurant, a pizzeria, a mini market ... all the facilities are present to make your vacation worriless. Accomodation in design /new cottages and chalets make the stay unique ! (Functional, well equipped, with terrace, hammock, sun chairs, air conditioning, ...). A young dynamic team of local professional awaits to offer you the best possible vacation. Espace Blue Océan is renown for its pro-environmental policies, and has been awarded the Eurpean Ecolabel since 2009 ! Staying in this resort offers a special experience. You are in a protected pine forest, car use is restricted, you walk or bike to the beach, Biarritz is 20’ away, ... Discovery of our bee hives producing the honey of the resort, of our goats and donkeys , lessons on biodiversity, the dunes and sea currents, ...), Its numerous activities allow to reconnect with nature !
We spent a long weekend there with our two kids (8 & 5 yo). We liked the clean house, the activities organized for the kids (while they were at the kid's club, we could chill and read), the activities for adults (I enjoyed yoga seances), the swimming pool with salty water. The breakfast (included in the offer we've had) was ok. The food (lunch, dinner) at the camping was nice, however the prices were quite high. The 3G doesn't really work there, and we had to pay extra for Wi-Fi, which we thought a bit ridiculous in this day and age. The beach is a 20 minutes walk through a forest. Some other (paid) activities near by (mini golf, surfing school, horses).

This is a unique, eco friendly stay. The accomodations is quirky and peaceful. I love the fact that the environmental ethos ran through everything the owners did. This is not a gimmack. From the fresh water swimming pool, to the recycling and the sourcing of local product. The breakfast croissants were local and among some of the best I had in france....the masseuse was phenomenal (though book in advance). The whole stays was refreshing it was really close also to bike paths castles etc.

Camping Beau Rivage is a small, family run campsite nestled between the ramparts of the fortified town of Navarrenx and the fast-flowing gave d'Oloron in the Béarn region of south-west France. Our chalets offer comfort and privacy for up to 6 people with fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a private covered terrace. The town is a five minute walk from the site with a choice of shops, bars and restaurants close at hand.
We love this camp site and would highly recommend it. It is very clean and well laid out with shrubs and trees. There is good wifi. We had a High Comfort Pitch which was large and had its own water tap. The owners speak English and are very friendly and helpful. We feel lucky to have discovered this little gem in a beautiful part of France.

Our motorcycle tour enabled us to visit this unusual site. We booked two cabins on line by mistake and they would not change the booking for us so that is very negative! The location is quite amazing behind the biggest sand dune I have seen outside North Africa. The staff were very helpful and the heated outside pool was a joy.

We enjoyed our stay here camping in our tent as it was a great base from which to see the local area. The cost per night was quite expensive with only a nominal reduction for being offseason. What the don't tell you on their web site is that only the basic facilities are open after late September. The swimming pool had shut as had the bar and restaurant! The toilets and showers were plentiful and clean. The tent pitches are limited to 12 places. They all had shade but were quite small so just about fitted our 4 man tent on the pitch area. Half the pitches are on a slight slope so avoid those if you can otherwise you will slide to one side of your tent in the night the other half are accessed by steep steps to the top of a slope. They can all get quite muddy if it rains. There was WIFI but this only worked near to reception and it had to be paid for. Not really great value for your money and not the most honest information on the web site. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Have you ever dreamed of a night Under the sky without bugs nor humidity : Only the magic stars you'll surely keep in your eyes for a long time...
No regret having made the trip from far away to experience Chrysalide. Imagine your 5 star suite as a bubble on a platform in unspoiled French countryside. Nature and Luxury mixed in an unpretentious way. We were warmly welcomed by Jean-Baptiste, the Owner of this atypical Ecotourism experience. After some Champagne glasses, our masseur gave us an unforgettable relaxing moment under the foliage, soothed by his hands, the breeze and the birds around us, while my wife enjoyed the jacuzzi. We declined the offer of dining with candlelights to visit one of the nearby restaurants. We fell asleep gazing at the stars from our super comfortable bed. We will surely return and recommend this experience to Couples, Families with kids or even Grand Parents with their grandchildren. Spend one or a couple of nights. Nerac has plenty to offer and if your wallet allows you will be in for a treat.
