Vietnam's bustling largest city sets the cultural and economic pace for the country. The former Saigon boasts charming French colonial architecture and wide boulevards, usually thronged and choked with traffic. Taxis are an option for seeing the sprawling city. The War Remnants Museum shows the Vietnam War through Vietnamese eyes. Don't miss the impressive Jade Emperor Pagoda. Go to the frenetic Ben Thanh Market for food, flowers or frogs. Tour through the Mekong Delta, past rice paddies and houseboats.

If you want to get off the beaten track in Ho Chi Min, the waterbus is great value, very easy and lets you see parts of the city you'd probably never get to.We took the 11.40 ferry from Bach Dang. It's well marked on the waterfront with a yellow W, and there is a nice tea and coffee shop where you can wait. There are about 5 stops on the journey north which takes about 50 minutes. I don't think there are many attractions at any of the stops, but there are always coffee shops or places to buy a beer. In Linh Dong, the final stop, there's a soy sauce factory (real brewing smell) which doesn't sound all that exciting, but the factory shop at the pier sells a big range of authentic sauces straight from the tap, giving you a distinctive souvenir. You can get a bus back into town from the main road (number 53 I think), or take a ferry across the river and make your way back from there, or just cruise back the way you came after an hour or so chipping about, which is what we did. Great value at 15,000d each way. Recommend!

HCM -> Mui Ne We took the bus with big and comfortable seats. The bus ride was pleasant and we stopped once for a 20min break after the first half of the route. The driver was very kind and welcoming. This is a great way to travel from HCM to Mui Ne! I recommend this if a $35ish round trip (5hr each way) bus ride sounds okay for you! I think it was. And I forgot my bag in the overhead bin. And they got the lost article to me asap. Thank you!

We used three different bus company while in Vietnam and this is by large the best and better organized. The sleeper buses are very convenient, clean and comfortable. We travelled from Can Tho to Dalat (approx 10 hours) with three stops for food/toilet along the way. Definitely a very good way to travel in Vietnam and enjoy the landscape

We used Futabus to travel from HCM City to Can Tho and then from Can Tho to Chau Doc. First up, HCM City to Can Tho. There is absolutely no need to book in advance as the frequency of this service is half hourly if not more. All you need to do is to either get yourself into Ben Xe Mien Tay (which is about 45min from District 1 by car) or their office in District 5 - 231 Lê Hồng Phong (which is only 15min from District 1). They only take cash for tickets. We went to District 5 and all you need to do is make sure the person responsible for shuttle bus knew you are there and where you are going - the person with the walkie talkie! The gentleman really looked after us and got us into a perfect waiting spot for the shuttle bus as when the door opened, we were the first on the bus. Be prepared for crowded shuttle bus as some people dont have seats. The bus to Can Tho is really new and we observed most of them were. These are sleeper bus and they are surprising comfortable. It even have USB ports and a music system if you like Vietnamese music. Make sure you take off your shoes before boarding. The driver is very safe in my opinion. No doubt lots of honking and I think it is done for a purpose to warn motorbikes and get them to move to side of road. I think generally speaking, motorists are used to giving way when buses are overtaking. The fact is that if they dont move across the road, they would forever be stuck behind motorbikes and tuks tuks. The bus made a stop about 1 hour out of Can Tho in a very nice facility which you can purchase food, fruit and snacks and go WC. The prices are good as most people take Futabus are locals - so you dont pay inflated tourist prices. Once arrived in Can Tho, just let the person in charge of shuttle bus know where your final destination is and they will ask you to go to a specific shuttle bus - cost is included in your bus fare so long as you stay in town. Even the shuttle bus are very new and modern. From Can Tho to Chau Doc. The bus is not as new and it is not a sleeper bus. Once again they provide hotel pickup in Can Tho and hotel drop off in Chau Doc. The stop over is a lot more primitive on this journey and the choices are very limited. There are a lot of people requesting the bus driver to stop near Can Tho so that they dont have to take the shuttle bus. Highly recommended. Very safe so long as you accepted they dont drive to western customs. The speed in general is much lower - max would be about 80km/hr and there is not a lot of time that speed can be reached. Tickets are cheeeeeap!

I've been reading terrible posts online about the service of this company. Yet I decided to try it anyway just to see for myself. My first trip ROUTE: Ho Chi Minh - Phnom Penh TIME : 6:15 AM BUS CLASS: VIP ( Only 3 VIP buses each way/day , in different time, please check with company) NATIONALITY: Filipino 6:00 a shuttle service picked up and drove us to the bus. The bus seats contained small bottled water and wet wipes. About 15 minutes in the journey the bus conductor collected our passports. - no Visa passengers was charged for Visa fee and service fee (ranging from US$1-5) (this was also advised by our online booking agent, this happens) 8:30 we were woken up and asked to go through immigration, passports were handed out as we alight the bus. Vietnam immigration exit stamp. 8:50 we proceeded to Cambodia border immigration for entry stamp. Note: The bus driver and conductor assisted us all throughout the immigration process. 10:30 we stopped for 30 minute lunch break. 11:00 we stopped for 5 minute toilet break. 12:54 arrival in Phnom penh. The bus conductor helped us unload our luggage. *Overall my trip was wonderful. I arrived safely, I wasn't ripped off and I felt like they took good care of the passengers. - it is also important to consider that most company staff cannot speak English, this company is mostly used by locals. So be patient and try to reach out as well. I will make another post for January 3, 2019 (Phnom Penh - Ho chi Minh trip Regular aircon) Happy and Safe Travels! I deduced to write a review to inform other travellers that this company is not so bad. On the 3rd of January I will be
