We stayed here for 4.nights in an IKARA safari glamping tent. The area in Flinders Ranges was magnificent but we were very disappointed with the “resort” and our accommodation. First of all the good things, the king sized bed (actually two singles pushed together) was very comfortable and the bathroom fine with great shower. The tent had air conditioning but even leaving it running all night the room was not warm. No rugs on the floor, no heater, a very small fridge with no freezer, a jug two mugs and 2 wine glasses. One small slither of soap which disappeared in a day , lucky we had some of our own. A small bathroom tidy bin and nowhere to put rubbish. Wry uncomfortable wicker chairs and no table and chairs to eat on even if we wanted to get takeaway. The restaurant was in chaos, staff were mostly surly and had no idea what they were doing. Wrong orders, missing orders, cold food sent back and lack of service was the order of the day at breakfast and dinner. Not all meals were bad but it was pot luck. I could go on about much more but this place really is old, tired and lacks good management, staff and service and is more like a 2 star not 4 star as they advertise.

There is no one word to sum up this tour, incredible, stunning and mesmerising just don't feel like they do this tour justice. From the minute Chris picked me up, it was incredible stop after another, from stunning views of a local beach I had to myself, through to the jaw dropping Flinders Chase National Park and onto the breath taking seal bay conservation area. Every aspect of this tour was 5 stars, there is not a single aspect I can fault, and it was simply one of the best tours and tour guides I've had in my life.

We used sealink to get from kangaroo Island to Adelaide and the service was generally good. Check in was easy in KI however clerk was not that helpful as I was unsure about luggage. Next time I will know! There is a luggage van - self serve - which actually comes off the ferry when it arrives. Easy once you know. Actual crossing was pretty rough so suggest sit in seats near rear of boat and very convenient to bathrooms! Our link from ferry to bus at Cape Jervois was easy - remember you have to collect your bag and put it on to bus yourself. There is a food outlet on the ferry but we only found this out near the end of our trip and it had just closed - arghh. (They don’t tell you!). A little more organisation and this would have been a wonderful experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful day being guided by Matthew around McLaren Vale. He took the time to get to know us and from there he really personalised the tour to suit our style. This tour was part of our honeymoon trip and we were treated to some of the most delicious and refined wineries and restaurants on offer. We were even gifted some beautiful wine glasses to remember this special trip. As first time visitors to South Australia, Matthew’s exceptional knowledge made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. We were able to take our time and really enjoy every moment. The extra surprise of a drop off at ‘Big Easy Radio’ at the end of the tour for cocktails and live music was yet another highlight from a stellar tour. Thanks Matthew!

Our wine tour felt like a behind the scenes tour of mclaren vale, which included a mix of the bigger wineries and some of the small boutiques. Our favourite stop was at Hugh Hamilton with the 360 stunning views and amazing tasting wine. I highly recommend anyone thinking about booking this tour, definitely book it!

As a solo traveller this tour was a fun and easy way to visit a selection of wineries. The driver/guide Nathan was most friendly and informative and made everyone feel relaxed for the day. The ability to choose which wineries to visit and picked up after an hour was great and as a couple of us decided to extend our time at one winery a quick text to Nathan was all that was needed. A fabulous day out at a very reasonable cost. Can highly recommend.
