We were staying in Lecce and did this tour in September. It was a great way to see the major sites of 4 nearby towns and hear some of the history. Our guide spoke very good english and he and our driver were both excellent. Highly recommended!

Our travel agent in the UK used Acampora for local arrangements on the ground for a private trip. They were superb - very reliable, knowledgeable guides, really helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate what we were interested in seeing/learning about, as well as to find great views and lunch places. Always on time and very professional. We were 2 people in a Mercedes people carrier and travelled on a day trip from Positano to Amalfi/Ravello/Scala, on another day Pompeii (4 hours with a guide!), and on our final day Herculaneum. We also spent a day without a car in Naples, at the Archaeological Museum (3 hours with a guide). The transfer from Naples to Positano was in the same Mercedes. Many thanks to Ugo the guide, Leonardo the driver, and also Giulia the guide!

Giorgio did more than show my family around Puglia, he was our tour guide through our own history and roots! He worked with us for weeks before our visit to build an itinerary in which we toured Bari, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Lecce, Matera, and many other towns throughout the region. We learned to make authentic Pugliese orecchiette, drank local wine, ate raw fish fresh from the sea, and shipped back a lifetime supply of Pugliese olive oil (the finest in the world). But the crown jewel of our time in Puglia was a visit to our ancestral hometown of Grumo Appula. Giorgio made sure that that our first visit to my grandparents’ hometown was fulfilling, walk down a street named for one of my ancestors, and even helped us connect with our relatives there (who we had never met before). By the end of two separate visits to Puglia, I feel connected to this beautiful region in a way I never thought possible, and I regularly stay in touch with I said of my family I never knew existed. To say that my life has changed would be an understatement. Throughout both of our trips to Puglia, Giorgio has gone above and beyond to customize our tours and make them memorable. The day I shared with Michaela was wonderul! She showed me poligano a mare but first I went to the cave which was a good walk then we went to the beach area! beautiful! I didn't do coffee tasting as it had alcohol. but I didn't mind that. we went to eat at the most delicious restaurant and we chatted about all sorts of different things! Michaela is a lovely person very open minded very kind. I hope to have her for my future trips again. she is so nice and her price is very fair! unlike other tour agents!

Michela was a very kind guide, very helpful and lovely with the children! We had the chance to experience a very private tour in the most typical part of Alberobello, and also made a quick stopover in the CItta Vecchia of Bari, to see the "Mammas" prepare the delicious Orecchiette and tasted to most delicious Gelati of Bari.
