After a short twenty-minute ferry crossing you will reach Mgarr harbour, which immediately sets the pace to Gozo’s unique atmosphere. Your guide will lead you around the Megalithic temples of Ggantija, the oldest free-standing monuments in the world, pre-dating the Pyramids of Egypt, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site (two of the seven Megalithic Temples of Malta). This will be followed by visits to the medieval citadel in Victoria, the fjord-like bay at Xlendi and Dwejra. Gozo is well known for its crafts, particularly handmade lace and knitted garments. Visitors cannot fail to be impressed by the island’s lush countryside, its serene atmosphere and how different it is from the larger island of Malta.

Tour to Malta’s sister island of Gozo. After a twenty-minute ferry crossing, on setting foot in Gozo you will notice that although both islands are similar in history and development Gozo has a character entirely of its own. Gozo, which is a three hilled island, is greener and more picturesque than Malta. During this excursion, we visit Dwejra, the citadel in Victoria, the bay of Xlendi, and we also stop at a spectacular cultural experience depicting Gozo’s long and colourful history. Free time for shopping will also be given – Gozo is renowned for its woollen goods and handmade lace.

This half day afternoon tour will give you the opportunity to explore the hidden charms of Gozo whilst enjoying the fun ride that a Quad bike offers. This tour offers several stops so one can have a break from driving and could also take pictures. This tour starts from Mgarr, Gozo Harbor. We will provide helmets and a tour leader will be touring on his quad. All participants are covered by third party liability insurance whilst taking part in any of our tours.
