Antigua has hundreds of beaches, from the bustling Pigeon Point to the kitesurfing paradise of Jabberwock Beach. It's fun to mix it up—a day spent in a secluded cove, another spent people-watching at a tourist magnet. When you’re tired of sun and sand you can shoot ‘em up at Reservoir Range, where archery and air pistols are a fun way to work out any lingering pre-vacation stress. A tour of the Antigua Distillery is a spirited way to experience a true taste of the island.

Erwin was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable and definitely has a passion for his city! He even recommended and joined us for an extremely delicious, traditional Guatemalan meal. We not only had a blast on our tour, but also gained a life long friend. I highly recommend taking a tour with Erwin.

My friend and I visited Antigua Feb 2020 and hired Lloyd for airport pick up and again for an island tour. We immediately hit it off with Lloyd upon airport pick up. On time, super friendly and very knowledgeable. A simple taxi ride turned into a very informative conversation about the island and things we saw en route to our resort. We asked Lloyd for recommendations on places to visit as well as places we wanted to visit so he created an itinerary for us. We spent literally the entire day with him. Picked up about 1030am and got back to JBR around 6pm. It was fabulous! He made stops along the way to show us things as he saw them- educated us on many plants and trees, stopped at a pineapple farm, stopped and he got us black pineapple to try (the sweetest pineapple in the world), went to Nelson's dockyard, Dow's Hill, Devil's Bridge, The Donkey Sanctuary, visited a friend of his that showed us his bees and got to sample honey right from the hive! We also stopped at Dickenson Bay. We wanted to visit the floating bar there but we arrived much later than anticipated so we sat and had supper at a restaurant on the beach. I highly recommended Lloyd!! Hope to be back in Antigua sooner than later and if we are, we'll see you then Lloyd!

What an adventure! We were on a cruise ship and the five of us were booked on this tour to see Antigua. We were greeted where the cruise ship let us off and we instantly started our full day adventure. Our guides were so knowledgeable and friendly, we truly felt like locals as we learned all about the island and culture. The day kept building as we stopped at the local produce market to pick up vegetables that were later used in the fresh meal that was prepared for us! From the donkey sanctuary (where we brushed and pet friendly rescue donkeys) to the fish farm, this day was full of information and we covered so much territory on the island. Our amazing tour ended on a tropical beach where the team prepared a fresh, tasty, home-made meal of fresh fish, local rice and bean dish (on a clay pot over charcoals), and skewers--all while we were on the beach and playing their local version of Cricket. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, whether you are visiting Antigua on your own or with the cruise ships. They couldn't have been any more kind, knowledgeable, and sincerely wanting us to enjoy our time on their island.

Sean from VIP Tours was amazing! We did a private island tour and enjoyed every moment thanks to Sean’s pleasant demeanor and full knowledge of the island. From start to finish he taught us many things about Antigua and it’s secrets, and sprinkled through gave us insight into the life of its people. We would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat! Thank you Sean!

On this tour, you have the opportunity to visit some of the most interesting sites such as Devil's Bridge, the Rain Forest as well as seeing the beauty of the Island while driving through some quaint villages, enroute to Nelson’s Dockyard National Park, home of the famous English Harbour, and named after Horatio Nelson who served in Antiqua in the 1700s. This tour is unique in that it gives a first hand knowledge of the Island after visiting the Interpretation Center (if opened) where one can see and hear the history of Antigua & Barbuda.

I had the awesome opportunity to have Shouwyn Francis as my guide. Mr. Francis was friendly and very knowledgeable. He took us all around the island and I learned so much. He also provided food and drinks during our lunch break and let me tell you the food was so delicious. He helped make my first time in Antigua a memorable one and I hope I see him again if I come back. I was so happy I invested in this tour and its a must do!

This shore excursion is a great way to discover Antiguan history and culture, with a scenic drive that takes you to a private home, a pineapple farm and ends at a beautiful white sand beach. This tour really is a great way to see the Island when in port for just one day. A true West Indian lunch and beverages are included whilst you relax on the private beach. This can be booked by hotel guests as well, however the meeting point and drop off location are at the cruise pier.

Exclusions: Gratuities
Reasonably priced for a historic sight, it worked out at about £8 per person. Lots of information and interesting exhibits in the museum. Plus some of the yachts in the marina were amazing. The restaurants are ridiculously priced though Not a place you could spend all day, but a couple of hours makes an interesting visit. Large free car park too
