Very carrying and compassionate staff, They helped us when we had to have Our Yorkie put to rest. We had him cremated and picked out a very lovely urn. I always have my precious cat Cody hurried in the pet cemetery, when you can't afford to have a plot.

Historic site featuring 2000-year-old walls built by hand as a calendar system by Native American peoples.
I grew up near Cincinnati, so we would go out there all the time when I was a child and just had a blast. When I got older, it became a place to go, to get away from how fast the world has become and that was 20 year’s ago we’d do that. Now I have to hide in my writing because that can’t crash, just like the fort will always be a great place to go, to put your phone’s down and enjoy your life and friends.. hell maybe family too? lol I didn’t even mention the significance of the land itself. I grew up in Loveland, named by the same Indians that built fort ancient and they named it Loveland because of bad spirits in the valley. This is the lost and forgotten part of our history that’s way bigger than thanksgiving and the pilgrims. We’re thieves and murders and they say, “Violence gets you nowhere!” Tell that to world HIStory.

Commonly referred to as the "Lebanon Museum" or "Warren County History Center", Harmon Museum is housed in historic Harmon Hall. This three story, 28,000-square-foot, building is home to Warren County related artifacts dating from prehistoric eras to the mid-20th century as well as temporary special exhibits. We have four new art galleries; a contemporary, folk, classic and exhibition gallery where we showcase the work of noted 20th and 21st Century Ohio artists. Our Shaker Gallery offers the second largest collection of Shaker artifacts in the country and our nationally recognized research library houses journals, trustee documents, written music, and agricultural notes as well as historical and genealogical records pertaining to Warren County Ohio. There is also ample free parking outside the museum's new handicap accessible main entrance, located at the rear of the building (accessible from South Street). The museum also has an elevator that runs to all floors.
What a gem this Historical Society’s museum is! Diverse subjects but very well done. If you enjoy the Shakers history, you are in for a special treat!

On a the hillside, nestled among the trees, sits Glendower Historic Mansion, Built ca. 1845 it was lived in until the 1940s. Over those 100 years, it served as a home to only three owners: a prosecuting attorney, a Union Civil War general and a rich socialite. Since then, the stately manor has served as a museum, providing a natural setting for many elegant furnishings and culturally significant artifacts from Warren County’s past. Noted as “one of the finest examples of Residential Greek Revival architecture style in the Midwest,” Glendower Mansion’s exterior features include Ionic and Doric columns, classic carved cornices and porticoes and a hipped roof with a captain’s walk. This elegant exterior is a popular backdrop for those looking to exchange their vows on the grounds. Our arboretum is cared for by our Master Gardeners.
This place was decorated for Christmas and the guides were teriffic. If you need to know how to decorate on a low budget, be sure to visit here. We even got a little history about the place.

Six friends stayed at the campground two nights in mid-October and were extremely impressed with the layout and the amount of activity available in the area. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous; I would highly advise calling them before you book and having them direct you to which campsite meets your objectives (e.g., seclusion versus river access versus family-oriented sites, etc.). We connected with the bike trail and took a six-mile one-way hike to Fort Ancient. We had a friend pick us up and drive us back to the camp ground. The Eagle Path at Fort Ancient was beautiful, but fairly difficult with even being in shape - so families with small children may wish to avoid that path and instead take the Connector Path to the main attraction at Fort Ancient. The timing of our trip with the change in autumn leaves was incredible. The location and accessibility of this area relative to the amazing sensation of being removed and in the natural world cannot be overstated as an incredible value. Five stars!

My friend and I come to MVG probably a couple times a month. We find it a fun filled, enjoyable place every time, win or lose. I especially enjoy the trotters and putting a few backs on my horse. Occasionally, I even win! We enjoy the free coffee and soft drinks, and sometimes Perks for a coffee and a snack. We usually just make an evening of it, and always have a good time. So glad they built in our area, so much easier to get to than the others...
