Just its location—in the Sacred Valley of the Incas—makes Urubamba sound like a mystical, magical place. The snow covered Ch'iqun mountain stands proudly in the background of this Peruvian town that serves as a base for people who want to visit the famous ancient Incan ruins of Machu Picchu. Zip lines and horseback rides let you experience this valley in the Andes in wildly different ways.

Since 1979, the CERAMICAS SEMINARIO workshop has been dedicated to the research and application of techniques and designs from the ancient cultures of Peru. Pablo Seminario and Marilu Behar have created a new artistic expression that gives continuity to our cultural heritage. In 1982, they opened their workshop in the Sacred Valley of the Incas where they train local artisans that make each piece entirely by hand. The trajectory and work of Pablo and Marilu is internationally recognized, and their pieces have been acquired by well-known museums. CERAMICAS SEMINARIO invites you to visit its workshop-gallery where you can take a tour to discover the Inca and Pre-Inca techniques that we utilize to create the Pablo Seminario style of ceramics. We are located in the city of Urubamba, Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cusco, Peru. We also offer the possibility to be part of the workshop experience in a pre-booked ceramics class.
What a delightful place! The family history and the fact that the family still owns and operates this place makes it even more special. They make beautiful pottery and art pieces, teach others how to, and have a showroom full of amazing pieces for sale. Do yourself a favour and visit!

Enjoy an amazing trek alongside Peru's emblem animal: the llama, through gorgeous natural landscapes and in company of friendly high-Andean llama farmers. By trekking with us you will enjoy an authentic, off-the beaten path activity, while learning about nature, culture and local ways of life. Your participation supports the Llama Pack Project, focused in recovering the use of native, eco-friendly carrier llamas in the high-Andes, a tradition almost lost to modern ways of life. The Llama Pack Project is fully committed to strengthening the skills of local llama farmers and providing environmental education to their children, to secure the conservation of our mountain ecosystems and sustainable development of Andean villages. When choosing a Llama Trek you will provide families that have never had a chance to benefit from tourism in the area, a new and sustainable source of income, continuous training and more importantly, motivation to recover their ancestral traditions. We provide treks with different difficulty levels. Bookings must be done at least a week ahead. We look forward to seeing you soon!
