We walk along the bouleward almost daily. The walk is really enjoyable both during day time and evenings. The walk in recent days - November 2nd week is more enjoyable during the noons when tje Sun is shining. On any day evening walks give a chance to have glimpse of lit skylines of New York which is fascinating.

Hoboken Waterfront Walkway

This view never gets old. We only get to visit here every couple years but visitors that come to NYC never get to see this spectacular view of the city from Hoboken. After a great meal in Hoboken, this was a great walk to end a wonderful evening. The city of Hoboken has done a great job with this river walk.

Newark Museum

The Newark Museum, New Jersey's largest museum, invites you to enjoy unforgettable experiences in the arts and natural sciences. Take an inspirational journey through 80 galleries of world-class collections, travel to the stars in our popular Planetarium, and stroll through our beautiful sculpture garden.

At the center of the historic & once grand Newark downtown the first class museum with striking exhibit space offers insights into both the old & resurgent city. Adjacent to the elegant Ballantine mansion, overflowing with silver & handsome furnishings, the eclectic collection contains masterpieces from the 19th century & Hudson River School, Corning & Steuben glass, jewelry & modern crafts as well. Although we ran out of time, on our next visit - with discounts for seniors - we look forward to exploring the 20th century art.

Hamilton Park

This is where in 1804, Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton.

Reviewed By kelliplansitall - Keller, United States

Hamilton Park has the most breathtaking views of Manhattan. Additionally there is a little monument for the Alexander Hamilton - Aaron Burr duel. The actual dueling ground would have been somewhere in the trees below the cliff, so largely inaccessible. It’s beautiful and somber to consider the lives lost here (since it was home to more duels than just this famous one). We took the ferry across from the city and then took an Uber to the park. Walking to the park is not impossible, but it’s not easy and mostly uphill, making it difficult for my travel companion.
