Rafting Camp Highlander is the agency specializes in adventure tourism. For more than 18 years we have been organizing a rafting tour on the rivers Tara and Drina, canyoning excursions through the Nevidio Canyon and Hrcavka Canyon, hiking and trekking excursions, mountain biking and jeep safari through the National Park Sutjeska and Durmitor. Camp is located on the right side of the Drina Canyon, with wooden bungalows, built in a mountain style. We offer our guests comfortable accommodation and free parking and WiFi, and what makes the guests always return to us is delicious homemade food made in our restaurant (organic food). After each adventure, our guests can enjoy in Camp near the fire with the sounds of acoustic music and a large selection of local and traditional specialties (lamb and veal under the hips (sac), fresh fish, hot bread, a large selection of pie and cheese, homemade cream (kajmak), prosciutto and sweet delicacies). Dear Friends, welcome to Rafting Camp Highlander!

I am no stranger to concenration camps, having viisted a few across Eastern Europe, and I realise of course that Srebenica is not one of these. It is nevertheless the scene of one of the most heinous war crimes in history - which is well documented. This is why it is so important to have places such as this which are open for those who wish to visit. It forms an important part of both history and education for future and current generations. This place was then for me increidbly moving - I was lucky in that when I arrived with my own private guide, a large tour group had preceeded me and was having a talk by one of the survivors. It was both an honour and a privilige to see this man talk about his experiences. The memorial site itself is so very moving with rows upon rows of gravestones, shining and white in the sunshine - it is both ironic and symbolic that this colour, which symbolises life and purity was chosen in the midst of such pain and suffering. Go there if you can.

Rafting River Tara team is a group of people who are young and enthusiastic nature lovers. Most of our lives we spent right here, by the river. We know almost every point of the Tara canyon. Our great experience helped us become certified guides in different fields – rafting, canyoning, hiking… We enjoy the look on the faces of our guests when we get them see some natural gems hidden in the wild areas of Tara. We guarantee the safety in every trip we organize and all you have to do is to enjoy the trip.

This 16th Century Ottoman bridge is in excellent shape and scenically stretches across the river in Visegrad. Free to visit, good views of the bridge on both sides.

Whether you are in the mood for lunch & a few drinks in the afternoon, or you prefer night out with great live music - you can get it all here. I have done both, but I prefer afternoon vibe, cause in the evening music can be a bit too loud for me. Food is afordable and tasty (my choice is Mac Tire burger and "black pizza"), and you must try local Craft Beer GORŠTAK, I loved it! (IPA and Pale Ale are my favourites!) People are friendly and relaxed, service is fine. Maybe you will be surprised that smoking is allowed, even thought they serve food here, but that is very common in Banja Luka.
