We called in as I was collecting stamps along our Route 66 trip and this is a stop. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and they even took our photo to post on their Facebook pages, such a really nice touch.

You will really have a learning experience you would not get from just any museum. Make sure you get a Foot Leonard Wood Day Pass before you go on post. There are several Museums and a Cave, too.

Although I love museums in general (yes, I am that sort of person), I was not expecting to enjoy the Ft. Leonard Wood Museum as much as I did. I had a lot of fun looking at all of the exhibits, especially my personal favourite, the section of the Berlin Wall.
