The ornate temples and lively cafes of Old Town are prime spots for exploration. Check out the Shrine of the Serene Light and the aromatic Nguan Choon Tong herb shop. Browse and bargain for pretty trinkets at the nearby Thai Amulet Market. Don’t miss an opportunity to take in a performance at the epic Siam Niramit Phuket theater, a true cultural extravaganza.

Unit27 is truly one of a kind. It’s the absolute best place I’ve ever been for training and the atmosphere there is unrivaled! What makes this place so special is the AMAZING people who make up the Unit27 team! Each has their own unique coaching style but each and every one of them are top class. A massive thank you to Jibby for pushing me to my absolute limit in Grenade, Natalie for her epic (and much needed) pep talks during body consultations, Billy for patiently correcting my rubbish form in every CrossFit class, Tamika for creating such a positive and encouraging vibe in every class of hers, Eng for being deceptively tough - hiding it by being SO friendly and always smiling, Nick and Mr Oh for appearing out of nowhere if they spot you slacking to make sure you’re giving 100%, Gib for her killer warm ups, Lizel for strategically avoiding filming me when I told her I hated being on camera, Harry’s FAB Rapid Fire sessions and super informative demos and Leo for his expert advice on weight loss and nutrition helping me keep up the Unit27 healthy lifestyle even after leaving Phuket with his online coaching! A massive thank you as well to the wonderful reception team and hidden heroes who make the place run as smoothly and professionally as it does! I can’t thank you guys enough for helping me on my weight loss journey and to anyone reading this wondering if this is the right place for you – ABSOLUTELY it is! You won’t find a more inclusive, inspiring and all round wonderful to smash your goals. Thank you Unit27 – I can’t wait to get back!

Rattachai Muay Thai is a superb family run gym in Phuket. It's among the couple of gyms that I've gone to that really deserves 5 stars for a couple of factors. For starters, it's placed 1 block far from soi-ta-iad, therefore it's really near what mma fighters street is offering. Next, the gym is immaculate and well run. Third, Nit and Noi are 2 of probably the kindest individuals that you'll actually meet, and allow you to feel welcomed at the gym of theirs. This isnt a fitness center which is only for martial artists. Everybody is welcomed, and everybody gets instruction that is excellent . Quarter, the fitness center is not over crowded. An essential trouble with lots of the gyms on Soi-ta-sad is they've way too many visitors and too few trainers. As an outcome, your oftentimes only nobody and a face gets to understand you. The community at Rattachai is a lot lesser and a lot more tight knit. Fifth, the trainers at Rattachai almost all have an excellent fighting experience and also do a huge task of concentrating on technique. The trainers dont simply concentrate on the many gifted pupils. They offer every person with excellent knowledge and be sure to mention errors once you cause them to become. As an outcome, the method of yours will certainly boost quickly, and also you are going to learn a great deal. Lastly, price. You receive the benefits of training with champions without having a top value. The training is certainly well worth the money. Rattachai Muay Thai is among the very best gyms that I've previously visited. Right after having taught in Thailand, China, the Philippines, and the United States, I claim that Rattachai is truly an excellent workout room for folks of all levels and all ages. Do yourself a favor and look it over in case you're in Phuket. You will not be disappointed.

Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong)

Reviewed By Wonga2Wonga

Great place to visit, did so twice. Photographer's paradise. Visited late afternoon, yes there were people, it is an active temple - but never crowded. Guess could be so at peak tourist-coaches hours. Sat evening a night market / food stalls were being set up in the grounds just as the sun was setting. Practically all Buddhist temples visited (and those we just drove past) would be worth a visit if they existed in isolation, due to the elaborate sculptural art that they are so rich in, plus they can look a little samey, but "Wat Chalong" stands out, so if you only visit one on Phuket island, make sure this is it.

Kao Khad Views Tower

Khao Khad Viewpoint Tower We hired a moped during our stay in Panwa Beach and decided to explore the local area. We came across Khao Khad Viewpoint Tower and were amazed by the 360 degree view that it offered from one of the highest points in the area. There are 136 steps to reach the top so this isn’t for those who have difficulties with mobility and there is no lift. However, it is truly worth the effort. You can easily see Khao Khad Bay, Panwa Cape, the ‘Big Buddha’ and much more... We went early in the morning but I can imagine that the views would be equally beautiful at sunset. There is a bar serving food and drinks on the site which we also stopped at. In summary, a great place to experience the amazing views of the local area and would highly recommend.

Monkey Hill

Reviewed By kellyaW5010SR - Springfield Lakes, Australia

I loved it, my wife and 4 year-old found it a bit intimidating as they are wild animals and there are signs at the bottom of the hill you have to walk unless you have a scooter. I do recommend taking food and if you're carrying a water bottle it will most likely get stolen right out of your hands. All in all, well worth the walk.
