Beautiful place, the castle ruling over the lake, a monastery further on that shows the quietness of the place... Really deserves a visit

As if landed on a hill, you can see it everywhere - if you are above it, if you are on a boat tour (the view is amazing at sunset), from both shores. From the playground in front of the church the view is also amazing, it is no accident a favorite decor for wedding photos. The church itself is in a typical orthodox style, renovated, much attended. You can reach it from downtown or from the fortress, but you must. You will not regret it.

Unusually parts of this church are very simplistic , white washed walls contrasting with dark stained wood panels, but this had the effect of being a respectful inspiring and reflective spiritual building. Given the almost understated nature of the church, the location of St Kliment final resting place is almost hidden away, unusual for this saint has achieved an almost cult status.
