My husband makes a couple of visits to the Union Barber every time we come to Bali. They are fantastic - hygiene is a strong point, they use disposable cut-throat blades with every client. They give great service and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone staying in the area - VIP treatment for a great price. ($14 for a cut-throat shave, head massage, hair cut - the full works!)

What a great experience for the kids. If you get the chance to do it don’t miss out, for a very small donation each child gets their own baby rescue turtle to release back into the sea, our kids loved it.

You can see it by the road, the sheer size of it is impressive. Follows Old Hindu story where Lord Krishna drives his chariot for Arjuna to fight evil.

Named after the Balinese word for "sweet and pleasant," Legian Beach is a popular destination for sun worship and water sports.
I have a soft spot for Legian Beach. It remains true to its roots, it's a great place to hang out, watch the sunset, try your hand at surfing, grab something to eat, grab a massage, do some shopping, it hasn't changed in years and that's what I love.

Seminyak Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach situated in north of Legian Beach. The white sand stretching 3 km from Tuban area has made it a fascination for tourists to visit this place. Seminyak Beach is favored by the great wave that is ideally for surfing adventures hence many surfers visit this beach to conquer the waves and enjoy the surf adventures.
Recently stayed at Double-Six Hotel and was able to see the daily early morning cleaning of the beach by tractor. Great beach for walking, scenic, lots of activity and some great beach restaurants and bars with bean bags to relax in and enjoy the music in the evenings.

This street that connects Seminyak with Kuta isn't just a venue for pulsating nightlife. It's also an excellent spot for some retail therapy, what with its collection of jewelry and clothing shops.
Found walking along Jalan Legian to be a fascinating experience. Lots of miniature stores to haggle, and plenty of opportunities to interact with the locals. Massage parlours, street cafes and 24/7 convenience stores with over the counter alcohol abound in this busy and bustling street.
