The house of shadow was made to accommodate shadow artworks. In the convention hall you can you can see sculptures made from trash, which when appropriately light, they produce recognizable shadow forms.
We were very lucky to have found this place. A unique experience that comes to live with the narration of the creator. The concept and the execution is exquisite as well as the storied behind each exhibit. A must for you visit!

The region of Philippi is connected to many exceptional historical figures and events that shaped the Western world. Stunning monuments, which have survived until today, are evidence of the long history of the cultures that interacted and grew in this region. The Early Christian monuments of Philippi are among the best-preserved of their type and for this historical period in the whole world!

It was my first time walking with friends towards the castle maybe little tricky finding it as you need to past by the houses along the alley to the top of the hill. There are directions and you may have to take some stairs or steep hill to get there. Its a beautiful scene make sure its a sunny day to enjoy the view from the top. It was really enjoyable for me and friends and certainly for those whom loves nature, scenary and photography.

This is a city oasis, a relaxing park where you can dip your feet in the water or grab a bite to eat and a drink, all while listening to the sound of a babbling stream while watching nature, direct in the heart of the city. Five walk minutes to shopping and a host of activities.

Mohamed ali's family house is situated on the Panagia Peninsula, in the old town of Kavala. Constructed around 1780 and uniquely renovated between 2001-2004 stands as a highly praised piece of late Ottoman architecture. An absolute must see!
It was a pleasant surprise indeed for me to find such house just next to the Church and monument build under his name. There are gardens around the area which makes it more pleasant for photography.

The museum collection is very well selected and is a good representation of lifestyle in Thrace in the past 3 centuries. We had a warm welcome and excellent presentation and truly enjoyed it altogether with the kids. The building is worth seeing on as well - lovely architecture.
