This is one place I visit every year. The quality of the productions that I have seen is first rate. I will mention that I prefer comedies. They do musicals and dramas but I have not yet seen those.

This 1,720 acre park is great for all kinds of recreational activities such as golfing, hiking, biking, boating, swimming and bird watching. There is also space available for conventions or conferences. More information on this park and many more can be found at the TN State Parks website.
This was the prettiest park! We walked the Pioneer Short Loop and it is by far the prettiest trail in the area! We’ll be back. Just watch out for snakes around the caves and in the damp spots along the trail! We saw 3!

This landmark structure was built in 1937-1938 to house the administrative offices of the Cumberland Homesteads, a project of FDR’s New Deal. It is located 4 miles south of Crossville, TN at the junction of Highways 127S and 68. The octagonal stone tower houses a 50,000 gallon water tank and a winding stairway that leads to a lookout platform at the top. Museum exhibits are displayed on the ground floor including photos, documents, and artifacts from the 1930’s and 1940’s.
A friend and I stopped here and at the house annex while our husbands tried to fit in a round of golf before the downpour . The Tower museum is small, but it contains a many items from the past. My friend and I reminisced some as we walked through the museum when we spotted items we had owned as children, or saw things our parents or grand parents had once had. We laughed at a poem about taxes in the gift shop and bought shirts that proclaimed that we "climbed the tower" which for us was quite a feat, especially after all ghe hiking we had been doing. The person working in the gift shop was very patient as she gave my directionally challenged friend directions to the museum house, which was just as nice as the tower, but smaller. Note: cost was very reasonable, around $6:00 for both the tower and the house. If you do both check out the reflection of the bridge in the park you have to drive through to get there ( the park starts with a c, I just can't recall the name right now) ; you could get a nice picture of the bridge and reflection - that is if it isn't pouring rain like it was the day we went.

Wildwood Stables is located at Fairfield Glade Golf Resort. The trails are excellent and the scenery is beautiful. Highly recommend this trail. They also have hayrides with excellent food and a play area for kids. It is perfect for families. There is an amazing 200 year old sycamore tree! The tree is recognized by the Urban Forestry Council in Nashville, TN on October 5, 2012, as a Landmark and Historic Tree. It was planted in 1864 by Hugh Center. The homestead was located along Walton Road which carried travelers across the state. Many famous people stopped by the Center home. The site was also had a school house/chapel and was the hub of activity in the area. The tree stands 94 ft. tall and is 16 ft. in circumference, with a crown spread of 165 ft. The tree is a wonderful place to marry with couples pledging their eternal love. Prayers said under the tree is believed to go straight to heaven. The TUFC has recognized 32 landmark, historic and heritage trees across the state to date. Wildwood Stable is also a stop on the Upper Cumberland Quilt Trail. The pattern chosen is called "Crossed Roads" which is significent to the heritage of the area and Tennessee.
Celebrated my daughter's and her son's birthdays with a family long trail ride. It was a first for the grandsons. They loved it! The trail was beautiful!

We are a well-regarded Military Museum covering conflicts from the Civil War to the present, housed in a historic Crossville, TN building. Admission is free with donation accepted. Open Monday-Friday 9am, - 3pm. Group tours can be arranged.
Had no idea this place even existed. Thanks to TripAdvisor we stopped by to check it out. Memorabilia, militaria, and stories abound. Weapons, insignia, uniforms, flags, and lots of stories make this a must visit for military and civilians alike. How much do you know about Nazi prison camps in the US? The local 4-H camp has quite a story to tell.

While visiting friends in Crossville, we came back for a visit! The staff was very friending and accommodating. The CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY wine was the best wine I have tried in a long time. I would love to order a case online!

This theater had nearly fallen to the ground. We went in to buy tickets for a Bluegrass concert. The young gentleman took so much pride in the facility that he offered to show us around. The theater is beautifully redone and has good seating. We enjoyed a concert with two Bluegrass bands, Clearview and Hillbilly Fever. The bands were very good and all of this for $15 per ticket. Just a very cool venue and a staff that is both warm and welcoming.
