Y Bont Fawr

Reviewed By 923Dan - Swindon, United Kingdom

The Y Bont Fawr is a stunning old stone bridge over the River Conwy in Llanrwst. A little bit of a traffic bottleneck on the way back from Conwy heading south on a Friday at rush hour, as its narrow with no passing places. Still a special old stone bridge - well worth stopping by to admire or as we did drive over. Amazing that its still standing!

Devil's Bridge Falls

Reviewed By DevonAng - Devon, United Kingdom

Walked the 675 steps down to the bottom of the waterfall and back up to finish opposite the hotel. Stunning views, very challenging walk with steep steps and uneven and slippery in places. Well worth the effort and time to take in all of nature and scenery. The noise and force of the water were brilliant.

Barmouth Bridge, 150 years old in 2017. Currently free for pedestrians and cyclists to cross between Barmouth and Fairbourne. Once on the Fairbourne side, there is a path into Fairbourne itself, or you can travel up the famous Mawddach Trail along the disused railway line towards Dolgellau via the George the III pub.

Crickhowell Bridge

Reviewed By holidayz - Chester, United Kingdom

There is a lovy canal walk which start in Crickhowell and crosses the bridge. It takes about an hour and takes you along the canal path past lime works. It was a lovely day and a great way to enjoy some of the scenery. We ended up back in the village and enjoyed a cold cider.
