Passerelle Paul Couturier is a 19th century footbridge. It is one of many footbridges but this one is actually one of the better looking ones! The views from the middle of the bridge are really wonderful. Worth a visit.

Bridge between Tournon sur Rhône and Tain L'Hermitagne, built in 1849 by engineer Marc Seguin, first suspension bridge with iron cables. Listed as a historic monument.
A lovely walk to end a very happy day spent in these small towns. Wish we’d walked over during the day when there would have been sufficient light for photos.

«Pont des amours» (loves bridge) From this bridge you can make amazing picture of «lac d’Annecy». Not only this bridge but the lake of Annecy is a romantic place in every season! You can have a picnic in the park. Rent a boat. Swim in the crystal clear lake. A nice walk around the water.. a hot wine (vin chaud) on this romantic bridge, while watching the view... I come often because I don’t live that far away.

Worth making the effort to find this place, it is stunning. Wear watershoes, put your phone in a waterproof case and go for your own mini canyoning swim/hike/ clamber up stream. The water is freezing but the sun is hot. And afterwards buy an ice cream at the Via Ferrata desk and watch the dare devils tombstone off the bridge.
