All the while I thought Lake Sebu is just a lake????but it wasn't, it's a town where you can find so many resorts to visit fun activities to do???? and not to mention the food! I had so much where infact I went twice after few weeks to sum up my vacation in Southern Mindanao, Philippines. Beautiful, Rich Natural Resources, Lovely people and best place to relax and enjoy the scenery. I have uploaded several photos from different places in lake Sebu that I went; Punta Isla, Dolores Resort, Garden By the Lake, 7 Falls and some side trips????

its similar to barracuda lake but both of them have their own beauty. The lake is very deep so its wonderful to explore all the sides as you can you lot of rock formations and scuba divers beneath you. the deck is very small so you have to ask many other tourists to give you a way.

Barracuda Lake

Reviewed By jun_r - Sacramento, United States

This place was suggested as a dive spot. I was initially skeptical as I didn’t think there was much to experience in a freshwater lake. Was I ever wrong. Diving this lake is an other wordly experience. It is eerie and magical at the same time. The water is cold as you go in but as you descend it SUDDENLY turns warm… almost too warm so you don’t actually want to wear a wetsuit when you dive here. The change in water temp was so sudden that my mask fogged up so you’ll need to brush up on your mask clearing skills if you want to see anything here. The lake itself is pretty deep so you want to dive close to the edges to experience the limestone structures that line the sides of the lake. They also have some really friendly freshwater catfish in there that you can practically hand feed by breaking up some of the snails on the lake bed.

Twin Lagoon

Reviewed By pochaycruz - Las Pinas, Philippines

Its only passable by kayak if low tide or swim through the opening if its high-tide. I have experienced both and would recommend the latter as you can feel the change of temp of the cool sea water and warm fresh water. A bit difficult to climb the stairs and its a slippery was well so take precaution if you manage to climb the stairs.

This place is superb! Was lucky to visit this place before in the ECQ. We came here January, good thing because we enjoyed the site alone. We are the first to come during that day. Entrance is Php 300 per head and Php 100 for the car 'cuz we actually brought our own service. The road is tight and only one car (sedan) can pass at a time. No worries, there will be a guide at the entrance to control traffic. There's a pub where we enjoy our lunch and got a taste of Baler authentic cuisine.
