Arunachal Pradesh (English: /ˌɑːrəˌnɑːtʃəl prəˈdɛʃ/) is one of the 29 states of India and is the northeastern-most state of the country. Arunachal Pradesh borders the states of Assam and Nagaland to the south and shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Myanmar in the east and is separated from China in the north by the disputed McMahon Line. A breathtaking place in the Himalayan vista, Sela Pass is a lifeline for the people of Arunachal Pradesh, and it is as heavenly as it gets. The Sela Pass and Himalayas combine to enchant one and all by their mystic beauty. One of the most stunning gifts of nature to the North-East, Sela Pass is a lifeline for the people of Arunachal Pradesh as it is the only way that connects Tawang district of the state to the rest of the country. The Sela pass and the Sela lake situated at an altitude of 13,680 feet ( i.e. 4,170 meters ) are a gateway to Tawang, the treasures that lie ahead within the state of Arunachal. Besides its geographical importance, Sela Pass is breathtaking place mostly covered with snow providing some beautiful views of the eastern Himalayan range. The rocky pass is also home to one of Arunachal's most beautiful lakes - the Sela Lake. Being at Sela Pass and gazing into the frozen Sela Lake one cannot help but marvel at the wonder that is the Himalayas. Formed by a flash flood after an earthquake in the year 1950, Madhuri Lake is originally known as Shonga-tser Lake, which is one of the most popular lakes in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. The lake was renamed so after the shooting of Bollywood movie Koyla, starring Madhuri Dixit, the beautiful actress. The lake has been surrounded by wonderfully lush valleys, and snow-capped mountains. A leisure walk is the best way to explore the picturesque surroundings of the lake Tawang is a town in Arunanchal Pradesh, profusely bestowed with pristine nature and a vibrant ethnicity. There is a mesh of India and China which can be witnessed during your trip to Tawang. The popular Tawang Monastery plays a special role in attracting different travelers here. Best time to visit Tawang is between March and October and for season-wise details of the town, you must read further. One of the remotest pools of the nation and maybe of the world also, Sangetsar or Madhuri Lake is a stunning blend of rough mountains and an ever-show lake whose excellence is past hypnotizing. The lake was shown up in the Bollywood motion picture Koyla and is otherwise called Madhuri Lake named after the lead performing artist in the motion picture. I went to Pangeteng Tso Lake. Located almost 25km from Tawang town, this immensely picturesque locale is a perfect tourist site. Excellent for picnic, depending on the weather. The serene atmosphere and mesmerizing surroundings leave tourists spellbound. It is great place to go.

I went to Nagula Lake. Nagula Lake is a captivating tourist attraction in Tawang. The scenic landscape of the lake will leave you to spellbind and one can spot a number of Brahminy ducks around the lake. It is great place to go.
