This one day, 60km explorer tour is an ideal introduction to kayaking the Mekong River. Soak up the sun and enjoy the scenery on this relaxed, scenic adventure. It includes a cruise upriver, a short stop at Ban Lad Khammune village, picnic lunch on a river beach, then kayaking to Ban Koc Kham, where you'll catch a river boat to see the Pak Ou Caves, before cruising downriver to Luang Prabang.

Pak Ou Cruise has only one boat travelling from Luang Prabang to Pak Ou Cave and rice wine distillery Muang Kèo.village. Our boat are 41 metres long with a 360 HP engine and a steel hull for strength and safety. The boat have a capacity for 40 people seated in comfortable benches and teak tables. We also have coffee tables with lao green tea and cool mineral water to read during your cruise.

The Sunset Cruise starts at 4.45pm so come at 4.20pm to pick the best seats ;) Spoiler : we head to an out-of-town sunset point with no other boat around, surrounded by montains and lush vegetation.. a real piece of magical experience.. and we offer you a welcome drink sided with a plate of marinated olives, yummy !
