Cuil Lodge is a "Visit Scotland 4 Star" B&B located in the village of Uig on the Trotternish Peninsula of the Isle of Skye. All rooms have fantastic sea views over Uig Bay out on to Loch Snizort, ensuite shower rooms, tea/coffee making facilities in each room, silent fridges, modern flat secreen TVs with a variety of channels, plus complimentary Wi-Fi. Cuil Lodge is only a two minute drive to the ferry terminal serving the Isles of Harris and North Uist. Great views and sunsets. Modern comfortable rooms. Wide choice of breakfast options which are also available for those meeting early ferries or day trips.
Outstanding property on the Isle of Skye! As great as the bedroom and guest facilities are, what really makes Cuil Lodge outstanding are the hosts, Margaret and Sandy. They were so helpful answering every question about sightseeing around the island. Not only did they provide dining recommendations, but they assisted with reservations -- which can be crucial due to limited options in the area. On a personal note, my husband and I want to give Margaret and Sandy a special word of thanks for going above and beyond to assist when we encountered travel issues at the end of our stay. We hope to one day return and spend more time with our friends at Cuil Lodge B&B.

Garybuie is a traditional B&B on the Isle of Skye. Rural location, peaceful, friendly and serving a breakfast of high quality ingredients which are British, local whenever possible and some produced by ourselves.
What a wonderful and all too short a stay we had with Christine and Kevin at their beautiful home, Garybuie. As a rushed booking a couple of days before a flying visit to Skye, our expectations were not high for our chosen overnight accommodation, given the very reasonable price. But what a fabulous place! Tucked away along a narrow lane, it felt like the peace and tranquillity of the Glen where Garybuie is located just wrapped around us as soon as we stepped out of the car. A very warm greeting from Christine and Kevin and we were shown to a gorgeous room with a lovely comfortable bed (so welcome as we'd driven a lot of miles that day), and a small, but perfectly adequate en suite with a good shower. Christine advised on local restaurant options and we had a delicious fish supper at The Galley nearby (if you like your seafood, their platter looked incredible!). Up early after a great nights sleep (the silence is blissful), down for breakfast, and what a treat! Eggs fresh from the hens that roam freely around the gardens, the homemade bread and preserves were just delicious and a perfect start to the day. Christine and Kevin were perfect hosts and such a lovely couple, we chatted and laughed for an hour or so before leaving, with Kevin also giving what turned out to be fantastic advice for our route back to the mainland. Simply delightful and we highly recommend a stop at Garybuie if you're visiting the area. Thank you, Christine and Kevin, and our very best wishes. Mark & Fiona.

The Ferry Inn is a refurbished 19th century family-run inn located in the beautiful fishing village of Uig in the North of the Isle of Skye. Both lively and stylish, the Inn currently has a bar, restaurant and 4 boutique ensuite rooms and is centrally positioned on the southwest-facing Uig Bay, with a fantastic view towards the Waternish peninsula.
Elegant, unique & very comfortable bedrooms, with everything being considered. Fabulous bathrooms. Spotlessly clean. Incredibly quiet & wonderfully relaxing surroundings. Excellent service from the very welcoming Morrison family, superb breakfast & brilliant music! Highly recommend.

Charming B&B, Angela was very kind and thoughtful. The view on the Uig bay is wonderful. Excellent location if you want to visit the Fairy Glen early. Breakfast was good. We did sleep very well. The only remark I would do is that there isn't much place in the bathroom to put our stuff. Thank you again Angela for your welcome.

Owner was wonderful and accommodating, had a 10hr drive and the Owner waited for me to arrive at 22:30 and presented me with an immaculate room. Great quality bedding and an impressive en suite. The miles just drifted away.

Bed & Breakfast and Self-Catering Static Caravans
After a weekend of camping in the rain whilst visiting the Island, we very much needed somewhere dry to bed down for the night. This was the last place that was available on the night, and we were so lucky to get it! A gorgeously spacious, cosy caravan in a great location. Very comfy beds, and the electric fire is a wonderful bonus! Had a great stay here, and we would definitely stay again. Our queries were handled quickly and in a very friendly manner by the cool guy hangin oot the windae. SambucaPrawns loves it!

We spent 2 nights with one child here. We are absolute satisfied with Sally's kindness and the service. The room was clean and nice. If we are coming to Skye in the future, we will visit her once more :)

"An Island B&B with great food!" Situated in a stunning location in rural North Skye, just one mile from pretty harbour village Uig. We offer boutique accommodation in either a stylish yet traditional King Room in the main house or in our luxury Bothy Suite with amazing views! Our place is ideal for couples, the solo traveller or for a group of 3/4 adults together using both our rooms. We give a big welcome, the personal touch with lots of space in a tranquil location. A perfect island escape! We love to cook, so include a delicious two course breakfast with lots of choice. This is served in the main house dining room each morning. Other food like our terrific and luxury local salad picnics can be ordered with a little notice and of course there is always cake! Nearby attractions : The Fairy Glen, Museum of Island Life, The Quiraing, The Old Man of Storr, Dinosaur footprints and much more. Please note: Due to the traditional layout of the house, our property in not ideal for those with mobility issues as there are steps and stairs. We have pets (dogs/cats/chickens) on our property with some unavoidable interaction at times with guests. We look forward to greeting you! Vivienne & Steve
This is a one-of-a-kind experience. We stayed in the luxe suite „am bothan dubh“ for 2 nights in march and absolutely loved it. The breakfast was exquisite and sooo delicious (even for vegetarians like us) and each day there was cake when we came back from our daytrip. Even whisky& tablet was there when we arrived. One day we had her picnic basket - and again: the food was amazing! Vivienne has an outstanding taste (local art/products) for interior design which you can spot in every corner of the house. One of the best things: there is a coffee/tea station in the cabin, which is really convenient if you are in desperate need for a cup of coffee before breakfast ? the cabin also features an outdoor seating area and lots of books and skye guides and even a bluetooth speaker for your own music. They love to share their favorite spots with you if you’d like and have really good recommendations. The location is perfect if you’d like a quiet place to stay with a few restaurants and a small supermarket close by (by car). The view is stunning, at night you can see the lights on the other side of the coast. They even told us that (if you are lucky) you can see the northern lights in late winter. Thank you again for your warm welcome Vivienne & Steve (&Archie). We will hopefully be back one day to see the northern lights ?

Woodbine is a charming, award winning, Guest House located in the village of Uig overlooking the stunning Uig bay on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye. Woodbine House offers 5 en-suite bedrooms with TV, coffee & tea making facilities and free WiFi.
The host was most welcoming when we arrived. Prior to our arrival they had already emailed details of the best restaurants nearby for evening meals and with their recommendations we pre booked which was essential. The accommodation was spotless with top quality bedding, bathroom linen and facilities. We had a se facing room which was excellent. The hosts provided special treats for my wife’s gluten free needs, this was a very nice touch. The breakfast was excellent, I had the Scottish breakfast and my wife a choice of gluten free options. The fresh fruit salad was fresh and better than most restaurants. We would recommend this guest house to anyone who want a quality clean guest house in a good location. We had the sea view room and paid extra which was worth it to us, the other rooms we saw also looked great,

Uig Lodge was originally built in the grounds of the Uig Hotel on the site of the stables in 1970 and the first floor was added in 1974. The interior was completely refurbished in 2016 and the rooms enjoy spectacular views of Uig bay. The daily ferry service to both Harris and North Uist leaves from the bay. The ferry terminal is just three minutes’ drive from the Uig Lodge. There are opportunities for sightseeing, watching wildlife, walking, fishing or just taking it easy in a corner of Scotland where life seems to move at an easier pace! It is little known that during summer months the Ascrib Isles in Uig bay becomes home to hundreds of puffins. Taking a trip to see them will often include close encounters with whales, dolphins and even the mighty basking shark.
A really super hotel in a picturesque location. An excellent restaurant with very knowledge helpful staff. Delighted to find very clean, well appointed rooms with beautiful views. Really lovely, I can recommend this completely.
