We are a new hotel to open in Tanah Rata 2013. Named after a tropical and colourful bird called Sunbird, the hotel is an ideal choice for travellers visiting Cameron Highlands.
Horrible facilities & service
Reviewed By fjmlk734We paid RM260/- as walk in customers since it is peak period. There was a dead lizard on the toilet bowl. The television was not working. The hot water flask was not working. Sheets were dirty. The generator kept turning on all night long. Could hear the television sound from the room next door. And echo everytime people closed their doors. We requested for a 50% refund. And they refused.

Nice and walking distance to all area
Reviewed By KathiravanK5Nice n clean. It's at the heart off Tanah Rata town. Nice n friendly staff's . Restaurant at ground floor serving Verity off food. Tandoori and their clay pot noodles are super can give 5 ? out of 5. Morning breakfast is nice. Should try their Roti Pisang (banana pancake) and Mango lassi.

Good Hotel for couple, less suitable for family
Reviewed By muhammadArifx10Booked Triple Room - 1 Double bed & 1 single bed. The room quite spacious & clean. TV is working with local channel. Room is not sound proof and if your are family with young child or baby, please avoid second floor as the wooden stairs are quite steep. The bed was comfortable, however the pillow a bit hard. The toilet was clean and hot water available 24/7. There is no housekeeping available during my stay.

Clean hotel at Cameron Highland
Reviewed By white jLocated at center of Tanah Rata, easy to get food around, and not far from the hillside. The room not so big and the facility normal, but clean and the staff very kind. No private parking lot, so need park the car along road, and at night a little bit noisy, since just along the road

Located in a small street straight ahead from Maybank, behind Twin Pines Chalets ; Close to shops, restaurants, banks, money changer, pharmacy and laundry services ; Clean, cozy and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and peaceful location ; Ideal for a safe stay on an affordable budget.

Owner Gerard welcomed us to the guesthouse with open arms along with his pleasant and friendly reception staff. The room was clean, and we were given fresh bed sheets and towel on arrival. Gerard was very informative and helped me plan my onward trip to Penang. Kind and trustworthy staff which made me feel very safe as a lone traveler. I also booked a trekking tour with the hotel with tour guide called Jason. He has exceptional knowledge of Malaysia and the environment in the Cameron highlands. I could not recommend him more. If or when I return I will be sure to find Gerald’s team and Jason. Thank you very much!!! Ps. free coffee and tea

Does her job as expected. - Scones and breakfast acceptable (not so pricey) Bad - Toilet Floor is very slippery when wet. Almost slipped. Hotel Tips - Bring your own coffee packs/tea packs for a more enjoyable stay. (Mugs provided) - Bring your own toiletries for a little more luxurious bath

Reviewed By nanad634The Family Room got bathroom inside.Water heater cannot adjust, the room dont have fan or aircond. Room is not soundproof. Yes u will not hear beside door but when ppl push door,walking n talking outside you will cleary hear it..very irritating. Owner living inside the house too. There around 9 room can be rent. If for sleeping only then its a right place but for privacy..NO. Walking distance to atm,diy,mynews,guardian, got free wifi n the wifi is good..around 10min to Pasar Malam, n other place for attraction n shooping around 15-20 minutes if no jam.
