Sah al Naum Bed & Breakfast, only 15 minute walk from Bab Touma, offers long as well as short-term visitors a comfortable and relaxing stay.
We stayed in Sah al-Naum with our 6 month old back in 2010. It was before the war. We think fondly of this beautiful guest house and of our walks in old Damascus, the Christian quarter and our trip to beautiful Bosra.

It was a really calm and enjoyable experience, the service was really good and breakfast was great. We missed a sunset coffee... but in general it was good. The sandy beach was clean and all people were enjoying the sun.

This place is incredible you can’t ever see something like it, I travel a lot but nothing like this rich place And to just chill or enjoy your time you have all the options. I think while visiting Damascus it’s amazing to live the history of a cultural in its core

I've been to Beit Chames last year already, but I cannot but confirm the other opinions about the hotel : this place is a gem ! Central location, great value, nice facilities ( US-style kitchen, free Wi-Fi, satellite channels), clean and cosy. I've spend quite some time in Damascus and have never found anything like this. Besides, Sameh, the owner, is a true gentleman and the most honest person ever. Go for it.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, characterized by a beautiful heritage design, and it is close to the city center. The food is delicious and the prices are generally good. Electricity is available around the clock, also the internet, and the rest of the services are nice and helpful staff

Brand new clean rooms, great prices, one of few places with free wi-fi, and with the cats and the many friends of the manager, Hasan, there is always a buzz about the place that makes you feel like family. Hasan will do everything he can to show and recommend places in Latakia. And Latakia is the one place in Syria where when the sun goes down, the central area comes alive with young Syrians fraternizing in the many splendid restaurants and cafes.

We stayed two needs at the wonderful Tourath House and absolutely recommend it to other travellers who make it to wonderful Aleppo. It is located in a very atmospheric part of town, with so many wonderful restaurants very close, as well as the souk and citadel a 10 minute walk away. The inner courtyard really is something special, beautifully finished with a summer room, lanterns plants and staircases. The room was basic, but had an incredibly ornate wood panelled roof. Breakfast was decent each morning, but the other real highlight was the staff. Others have commented on them, but they really were incredibly helpful and welcoming, always willing to answer a query or make a recommendation. For $70 per night, Tourath House is THE place to stay.

If you’re looking for a romantic small hotel in Damascus, look no further than Kemareah Hotel. Rooms at Kemareah Hotel offer air conditioning providing exceptional comfort and convenience, and guests can go online with wifi. While staying in Damascus, you can check out a popular cafe like Al Nawforaa Café, which is serving up some great dishes. Should time allow, Old City, Umayyad Mosque, and Souq al-Hamidiyyeh are some popular attractions that are within walking distance. The staff at Kemareah Hotel looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
Good price, location in the old damascus. Nice setting on the roof. good breakfast. new decoration. Avoid ground flooor rooms, no much sun. Take a room at the 1st or 2nd floor (the roof).

I really love this boutique hotel in Damascus. Its located in the old town of Damascus. (5 min walk to Umayyad Mosque) The price includes the ''wonderful'' breakfeast. The Staff were extremely helpful and Kind. There are 8 rooms (with 8 different flower names) The rooms are beautifully furnished..just perfect!
