We arrived late and the left a brotzeit in our fridge that was an amazing feast Location is great free Parking The room was huge with coffeemaker and tea maker and a fridge The sauna and swimming pool was refreshing and in covid times avail For each individual room only The whole place was ultra clean, great preis leistungsverhaltnis. Can wholeheartedly recommend Now Sylt is a place where not a lot of US tourist go, so I speak german but English is spoken on the island On a personal preference note the bed was a little to hard for us, but huge

Großes Lob an die Küche der Hummerkoje - es wurden uns sogar Wünsche abseits der Speisekarte erfüllt. Auch im Spa-Bereich wurde individuell auf Wünsche eingegangen. Rundum ein sehr schönes Wochenende! Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der relativ kleine Spa-Bereich. Die Liegen waren recht schnell belegt.

Reviewed By MarcoPoloDenmarkWhat a great place. Jasmin welcomed us upon arrival, with a big smile and a warm welcome. We got all the required information and Jasmin followed us to our room. The room was actually a suite, with both bedroom and a living room. Great bed with luxurious covers, 2xlarge TVs, great coffee and tea, large terrace with nice chairs. Even a beach ticket was included. Jasmin super friendly and has great knowledge of the iceland, the area and what is worth seeing & doing. Highly recommended ?

Reviewed By L TWe stayed two nights and loved the place. Untrendy, but good, clean rooms and friendly staff. There is a fridge and TV in the room. Password to free wi-fi is provided, though my iPad could not find the connection in the room. There is a communal living room with a self-service bar (pay as you check out, honesty is expected). There is also a small sauna/fitness room and washer/dryer should you need it. The breakfast is excellent and lovingly prepared and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is also a lovely garden if the weather allows you to sit outside. I do not know this, but the feeling was that this place has guests returning. I would definitely like to return. If your are allergic, please be aware that they allow dogs in the hotel. Wenningstedt is in the middle of the island and a good starting point for bike excursions, should you tire of the miles and miles of white beaches. The town is quiet, so if you require constant partying this may not be for you. The place is not swanky like Kampen, but neither is it as noisy and crowded as the towns further south on the island.

Great stay during our Elopement
Reviewed By Buzl9021We stayed at the hotel during our elopement. From the first contact to checkout we were thrilled. The room had ocean view and was clean and stylish. The breakfast was until 11 o‘Clock and had everything we needed (incl eggs to order and Nutella). On the day of our wedding the hotel had a fruit platter and bubbles sent to our room. Hotel Restaurant had a great variety (try the grilled chicken). We recommend this hotel and will gladly stay here next time we visit Sylt.

Reviewed By Pirata4everOn my business trips to the island of Sylt I like to stay in this hotel because it is within easy walking distance from the station and the beachfront is only about 500 metres away. They are in the process of refurbishing their rooms and if you're lucky (or you ask for one) you get a very cosy room indeed. I prefer the top floor were you also have a tiny roof terrace. The breakfast room has improved remarkably and what's on offer is excellent. I also praise their choice of tasteful music so as not to disturb your morning mood. Yes, the hotel entrance is a bit hidden but I feel this is an asset. During high season the rooms are quite expensive but that doesn't come as a surprise. A vast choice of restaurants and bars is around the corner.

A surprising charming property

Mr. Petersen and his staff always have a smile on there face, are more than supportive with any suggestions or bookings and simply make you feel welcomed. They certainly made the difference. I was lucky enough to get a room under the roof which was more than spacious and very well decorated. Not just your ordinary hotel room but rather warm, cozy and comfy space which for once didn’t remind you of a hotel room. It had all the necessities required. The breakfast was served in a wide open space facing the garden and outside „forest“. All freshly prepared, plenty of fresh fruits, fish, pastries etc and regional products. Well appointed. The Spa area is fully sufficient with a wonderful steam bath and sauna plus separate relaxation area. The stay has been an absolute delight. And certainly Sylt at this time of the year has still so much to offer, away from the usual buzz in summer.
