We had the pleasure of staying at the Stone Maiden Inn for our little Stratford adventure from June 2nd to June 5th, 2022. This was our first stay together at a Bed and Breakfast and we were thrilled beyond all expectations. The property itself is a wonderfully cared for 1873 Victorian mansion. The interior is a pleasant balance of eclectic and period appropriate décor, with stunning wallpaper and interesting knick-knacks throughout the edifice. We stayed in La Grande Chambre, and were extremely pleased with the layout, which included a well-appointed bathroom, and a nicely sized makeup area. Moving into the main bedroom, we were delighted with the comfortable king-size bed, a nicely carved wardrobe and a multitude of shaded windows. Each morning greeted us with a new breakfast menu with a couple of delicious choices, preceded by a scrumptious appetizer. Each day's breakfast ended up being a fun and tasty treat. The location of the inn was another pleasant surprise, as it is situated minutes away from the downtown area, and close to the Stratford Festival theatres. The inn is also a few steps away from the wonderful walking paths along the Avon river. Fortuitously, the Stone Maiden is tucked far enough out of the way that we felt sheltered from the hustle and bustle, which comes with a tourist city. All in all, the inn and meals were absolutely spectacular, yet they paled in comparison to the geniality of our host. Upon meeting Tim, we could tell that this was a man who loved his job and took pride in not only the inn but also the hospitality he offered to each of his guests. Tim radiated positivity and exuded all the qualities of a true hotelier. Tim and Johanne turned a great stay into a perfect one. Not only will we be back to the Stone Maiden Inn on our next trip to Stratford, we will recommend it to any that are looking to visit. Beata and James

Built in 1845, the historic Inn is now freshly renovated and ready to open. Thomas Edison lived in the building when he was just 16 while working as a telegrapher. Don't worry, though, the Inn has been upgraded embracing a modern, industrial feel while being ultra comfortable and relaxed. Be a guest at Stratford's first truly boutique hotel.
Room was beautiful and check in experience was easy. Manager responded quickly to texts re parking. However, if you do go and aren’t interested in staying up half the night, make sure you don’t book the Courtside room as you will be plagued with the swinging door of the Taco place directly behind you slamming and literally shaking the building every time is it used. Also the room is literally a pane of glass away from the deck - loud music and chatter. It is past midnight am i am still waiting for things to quieten down so i can sleep.

We were attending an event at The Revival House and wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance. What a find this was! Sure, it doesn't have a fancy lobby (or an elevator) but the room was FABULOUS. We booked the executive double king suite - two floors, each with king bed, tv, fire place and a kitchenette on the main floor and huge bathroom on the upper. The mattress was quite possibly the BEST hotel mattress I have ever slept on (I emailed the manager and it's a tempur-pedic) and the entire suite is monstrous. Just loved it. Parking is across the street (underground) which was a bit of an adventure because we left early in the morning and got locked out of the hotel/restaurant with the parking garage clicker still in the car. Luckily the maintenance man heard our door-pounding and saved the day. Other than that it was a brilliant stay, close to fantastic shopping and lots of dining choices. We shall definitely return!

We enjoyed the waffles with maple syrup, home made blueberry and raspberry syrups. I don’t usually eat quiche, but the mini quiche were very good. The room was spacious, comfortable and included a mini fridge.

I was at an Obedience trial with my Shetland Sheepdog and made a reservation through Bring Fido.com and stayed there for one night. The lady at the front desk was super pleasant and helpful and I had no problem checking in. The area was a bit sketchy and everything, but I felt safe and sound after checking in. The room was lovely and spacious and of course the main thing - very clean! There was a landing part where you walked in so I could take off my shoes, etc. It was a basic hotel, and all the checks in the box were satiated! I'd totally stay again!

Four swans have been sitting in front of the house for over half a century to welcome you. Hope you enjoy the fresh taste of oolong tea to start a new day.
Centrally located, renovated heritage home is a perfect choice for theatre goers. Walking distance to both the Avon and Festival theatres in warm weather. Also close to restaurants and cafes. Impeccably clean and very comfortable. We stayed in a spacious suite with separate living room and kitchenette, and King sized bed. Just note, if booked through a third party (Hotwire, Expedia etc), there are two properties: The Ambassador’s Inn and the Ambassador’s Inn Next Door. It would be easy to mistake them as one B and B. The Inn is the true B and B. “Next Door” is actually room only (breakfast optional), and does not include breakfast late season. We confused the two. Our congenial and generous hosts we extremely accommodating.
