Our Buden offer all the amenities for a perfect holiday on the North Sea. Each of our rooms has a private furnished balcony to sniff fresh air or dry the swimsuit. Our "Buden" (rooms) are equipped with extra long beds, underfloor heating, satellite TV, mini fridge and in-room safe. In our hotel is a large lobby to read, rest or play board games. Wireless internet is available and free of charge with us in the lobby and in all rooms. In our bathrooms you will find a walk-in shower / WC and a hairdryer.

Reviewed By QuieregatoWe visited this hotel in November, low season, so very quiet. We apreciated the free tea and coffee corner, and free fresh apples, just by the reception. The lady ad the front desk was nice and polite. The breakfast is usually not included, but you can choose to a have a complete buffet in a separate building for 15 euro circa. We got a free entry voucher for the large SPA in town, I liked the small but cozy room and its balcony, everything was very clean and looked new. The deep blue lights in the bathroom gave a kick to the experience. Dog-frendly hotel, as I reconized from little details, like towels to dry your pet after having a walk by the sea, but no bad smells at all. I can recomend it

The hotel is a charming and very comfortable place to stay for those who are looking for a quiet, romantic location with excellent food, lovely rooms and a friendly service. The rooms are all named after famous wine; in the restaurant who get next to your superb breakfast, lunch or dinner a choice of excellent wines. Some of Prince of Hessen, which can be bought at the place. The setting among the beautiful Trakehner horses, yellow fields of rape, old trees, blue skies, and the sea on the horizon is unbeatable. I m coming back!!

Did not understand the room was without private toilet/bathroom upon booking - however in the hall with four of this place’ rooms, there was 2 bathrooms. Both very clean. Definitely great for a one night Ed or long stays. Just out the door down the stairs to the main street you’ll find Cafe Extrablatt perfectly adequate for all three meals of the day.

Reviewed By paddy_ooI enjoyed the stay here the breakfast buffet is very good and the all day and night honour bar and tea service is a nice touch. Rooms are smallish but nicely appointed. Only caveats are the one seems to need a PhD in ELE comics to figure out how to use the light switches in the rooms and that it seemed like the gardener had run off with the maid - outside spaces not well maintained with weeds growing everywhere and the "lounge chairs" and cushions not having been cleaned for ages.

Reviewed By 143michaeljStaying here for 2 nights (Sunday and Monday) on arrival check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was as expected (maybe a little dated) but it served its purpose and was really really clean. We went for a walk and asked for extras pillows which was no problems. We made a reservation for the restaurant to have an evening meal which included a welcome ‘cocktail’ this is in fact a Schnaps. We were greeted by an older gentleman who actually had no personality or lust for the job (also rude) however we were served by a really friendly lady who clearly knew what customer service was (happy about that) the food was ok ok but the price is based on food with a view, however we were seated in the inner restaurant and there was 4 tables available with a view so we asked (unfortunately Mr Grumpy said no and that everything is reserved for 19:00, but at 20:00 there were still 2 tables available. Perhaps it was a lucky escape from his service) he was rude to other staff working (perhaps a new profession needed?) The next morning it was like 2 different worlds. We were greeted by a very happy smiley lady who sat us at a table with a view and explained the breakfast. She brought coffee pots over in moments and we helped ourselves to the Buffett. Excellent and friendly service on breakfast and couldn’t fault anything. It’s a shame that the only thing to let all of this down is one persons bad attitude the day before. It’s a perfect little hotel with some accommodating staff and friendly service. All that being said I would think twice to eat in the restaurant for dinner due to Mr Grumpy

Reviewed By mwv-hhWe celebrated a four day family reunion this hotel. We have only praise for this establishment and its personnel. Rooms were clean, spacious and pleasant; breakfast was simply superb with something for every taste; personnel was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location is great with just a few steps to the beach.

Right next door to a really good restaurant also at the river’s edge. On the bike trail with bike parking in the rear . Rooms are good sized , clean and comfortable. Toilets are nice with great shower water pressure. Breakfast was very good with hot and cold food choices. The major disappointment was the horrible internet connection and availability. If you had to do any Internet work you would be sorely out of luck . I spoke with the reception gentleman on the next morning and he agreed with me that the Internet was horrible but didn’t seem too concerned. This is a nice place to stay - just make sure that you don’t need the Internet for the night that you are there !!
