Haus Anna is a fairly basic but perfectly adequate B&B, in a quiet residential area. The big pluses are that it's barely 10 minutes stroll from Old Rauma, the owner is on site and most helpful, and the price is very reasonable. The rooms, while less than luxurious, are spacious and clean. And a decent breakfast is served overlooking the garden. Overall... good value for money.

Rooms of the guesthouse Wuojoki are decorated tastefully in the way that suites to Mansions spirit. For example the wallpaper in the rooms is hand printed based on a pattern found in Vuojoki Mansion restoration.
I'm not sure why we ended up in Eurajoki, Finland. Although the southwest coast of Finland, particularly the Aland Islands, is not to be missed, this specific area is not exactly a hotbed of interesting things to do or see. Unless of course, you are seeking out a grand 19th century manor house set in a gorgeous countryside and offering peace and quiet on an equally grand scale. It is also probably the finest example of Empire Architecture that we have ever seen. The Vuojoki Mansion is owned by the municipality of Eurajoki and has been painstakingly restored. There are several rooms located in the adjacent guesthouse a few steps from the main building. The rooms are quite comfortable, very clean, but are on the smaller side and without the grandeur of the main building. Nonetheless, they represent a bargain when you consider where you are staying. One night during our stay we were the only occupants of the estate, an experience we will not soon forget. Take the time to tour (on your own in our case) the second floor of this grand home. The furnishings, including the many portraits, are beautiful and typical of the period. Breakfast was typical bed-and-breakfast fare set in the main building. The buffet lunch looked amazing. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always accommodating. I am not saying the area is void of interesting things to do. Rauma is the closest large town (15 minutes away) and is home to Old Town Rauma which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a relatively unspoiled example of 18th century wooden architecture which seems to have remained unchanged. There are interesting shops throughout the area, including lace-making, which is a true art. You can watch women of the town make the lace, a talent which is centuries old. There is even a lace festival at the end of July. Rauma is the closest place to Eurajoki with a good selection of restaurants. I'm not saying you should travel a great distance to stay at the Vuojoki Mansion, but if you ever find yourself in this part of Finland, you should book a stay here.

The hotel is basic but at least the twin room was spacious and comfy. Toilet&shower are in the corridor but luckily there was one per floor. The Kylmäpihlaja Lighthouse location is great so I guess you pay for the location. Breakfast was good. I had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the food was good. There is not much to do so bring a book. The restaurant and cafe offering is limited but they are open all day. Overall setting was great; perhaps I would not want to stay more than one night but I think it was worth it. Sunset and -rise were beautiful.

1hh remontoitu kauniiksi. Matkaa Poriin 27km. Oli loistava valinta yöpyä täällä Pori Jazz 2017 viikonloppuna .Suosittelen

Visitors staying in the comfortable and luxurious premises are surrounded by the spirit of the historical buildings. The rooms are beautifully decorated to reflect the warm-spirited Finnish design, and they provide a nice place to relax after a hard day. The design of architect Alvar Aalto is reflected in Guesthouse Vainiola, and Sahala can accommodate a large number of guests.
Noormarkun ruukki on enemmän kuin majoituskohde. Se on upeasti hoidettu entisajan ruukkimiljöö, jossa on edelleen tavallista elämää. Olimme varanneet majoituksen yhdelle yölle, mutta täällä olisi viihtynyt pidempäänkin. Majoitustiloja alueella on useita. Noormarkku Works is more than an accommodation destination. It is a very well-kept works milieu where people still live and work. We had booked accommodation for one night, but could have easily stay here longer. Our accommodation was in Sahala on the 2nd floor, where in addition to the room there were comfortable common areas: sofas, TV and kitchen. Sahala is the former office of Noormarkku sawmill, and right next to the sawmill museum and rapids. I think that the location was very nice. There was no air conditioning in the room, but it was enough for us to open the window (it had a mosquito net). In the heat, of course, this room can be uncomfortable. We also went on both guided tours: a saw mill tour and a garden tour. Villa Mairea tour was not available - those tours are booked till the end of summer already. Our guide was friendly and nice, but since she is the guide of Villa Mairea, the information we received from her was quite general. This time, the garden tour should have been called Noormarkku Works' general tour. We weren’t bothered at all, but if someone was waiting for guidance on the wonders of the garden, he might be disappointed. During our visit delicious food was served at the Noormarkku club. We had dinner and breakfast, which was included in the price of the room, as well as lunch between guided tours. About the dinner and lunch, I will make own review under the Noormarkku club. Breakfast was very good buffet breakfast.

The room, although quite basic, was clean and comfortable. The TV worked, the heating was good and the water was hot. The room looked out on to the river so it was a pleasant view. The rooms are located in the centre of Kokemaki, just a short walk from supermarkets, take aways, restaurants and other shops. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of coffee available. Kokemaki is close to the highway so if passing through from Helsinki to Pori, it's a very convenient place to stay.

Todellakin suomessa on vähissä ne hotellit missä on omatoimi aamupala. Sijaintihan on loistava pääkadun varrella toki koko kaupunki on hiljainen kesälläkin. Ilmaiset parkkipaikat huoneet toki elämää nähneet ja pienet.
