The Kings Head Inn has undergone extensive refurbishment ready for re opening early 2014. We have 5 luxurious modern individually designed en suite cottages each with private entrance, tea & coffee making facilities, TV, and free Wifi, plus 5 beautiful en suite rooms with the same level of quality as the cottages but with the added bonus of staying in the 300 year old Coaching Inn.
Gorgeous staff and gorgeous food! We popped along on our way back from Rye City Centre, the staff were really friendly and the food was 10/10. The outdoor area is lovely and bright, also a dog friendly pub which was a bonus for our dog ? Very happy with our experience

The Ship is in central Rye, at the bottom of Mermaid Street. Built in 1592, it was originally a warehouse to store contraband seized from smugglers. It is now a characterful pub, with beams, wooden floors & log fires. Open from eleven every day for freshly prepared food, local fish, Bloody Marys, real ales & organic cider. 10 comfy modern rooms (four of which are dog-friendly) - all with en-suite bath or shower. Children, dogs are especially welcome.
Booked an evening meal at this cosy little town pub for my wife's 60th. We had a superb meal, great food and the service was excellent from the friendly staff. Great menu choice too, especially seafood. Lovely atmosphere and superb beer, the Cellarhead highly recommended! Can't wait to visit again!

Hayden’s B&B is a small, family-run, environmentally friendly bed and breakfast in the heart of the ancient market town of Rye, an area gilded in literary and artistic history. Our popular restaurant serves local and organic produce in a traditional English style with an eye for the contemporary.
We stopped here for breakfast and couldn’t have asked for better. Amazing service, friendly staff and generous portions of great food. You must have the cooked breakfast - perfection and super thick toast. We would definitely visit again.

The warmest of welcomes awaits you at the New Inn. This 18th century coaching inn in the ancient town of Winchelsea offers beautiful boutique letting rooms, delicious traditional British pub food including local specialities, real ales, a great selection of international wines and spirits, plus a log fire in the winter and an extensive beer garden for light snacks in the summer. We are also dog and child friendly.
Good menu choice with variety to suit appetites and dietary preferences. Additional items on a specials board. Very pleasant staff and service time was just about right. Steak cookery needs honing, but there was no problem when I asked for my steak to be re-cooked as medium rare. Some of the sweets are homemade. Two courses with drinks for £55

Arrived at Magnolia House to an exceptional room, very modern, very clean and in the perfect location just walking distance into Rye town centre. Javid and Judith were amazing hosts, recommending great things to do and places to visit (Knopps was our personal fave) Breakfast was always lovely, bed was super, SUPER comfy, shower was massive and even had a seat…honestly can’t recommend enough! Thank you so much Javid & Judith you made our time there very special?❤️

4 B&B rooms above The Horse & Cart Inn including a dog friendly 1 family room. All rooms recently refurbished and all have large walk in showers. Free toiletries, wi-fi and cooked breakfast.
We stayed here just for one night when we visited our son and his family who were staying in a holiday cottage nearby. But we enjoyed it so much we would definitely stay here again. There was a friendly welcome and we were quickly shown to our room. The room was comfortable and pillows just right which is rarely the case. We had a nice en suite with a great shower. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Had an enjoyable drink in the pub. Unfortunately our son had already provided dinner as the meals in the pub sounded delicious. In the morning we had the full English breakfast that was perfectly cooked and one of the nicest we have had in a long time (plus we didn't need anything to eat for the rest of the day)! All in all this place is highly recommended.

This traditional village pub dates back to the 15th century with our snug area dating back to 1107! Legend has it, that the original building was used as accommodation for the monks that built Iden church. We have two delightful letting rooms, separate to the pub. Rooms offer king sized beds and en-suite facilities. Other features include original oak beams within the letting rooms and the main inn. Make yourselves tea and coffee in vintage china in the morning in bed whilst watching television with freeview prior to popping over the the restaurant for a sumptuous hearty breakfast using fresh local produce - continental and full English are offered. We are proud of our home cooked food and offer far more than your usual pub grub. Our food is locally sourced where possible and reflects seasonal changes. We are a perfect dining space for a romantic dinner for two, a family celebration or a private party.

Willow Tree House is a 6 bedroom Grade II listed house which has been sympathetically refurbished. All our luxury bedrooms have en-suite power shower cubicles and luxury toiletries. All rooms are equipped with Digital TVs, WiFi, fans, hairdryers and straighteners. Iron and ironing board are available on request. We have 5 double rooms and 1 twin/double kingsize room. Rates are inclusive of Full English breakfast and FREE SECURE ON-SITE PARKING. Unfortunately we cannot accept children under 14 years of age. We are a few minutes walk into Rye town centre which has a wide variety of restaurants/pubs, galleries, antique and gift shops.
This is an excellent B and B - we have only given 4 stars because our room was on the front of the house and there is a lot of road noise. The very efficient double glazing eliminates all the noise but leaves the room rather hot and stuffy, although the hosts have thoughtfully provided a fan which does help a bit. The room was clean with a lovely big bathroom and an efficient shower. The tea tray very welcome with tea, coffee including decaff, chocolate and biscuits . Chocolates by the bed every day were a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent with a good assortment of fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt and a cooked to order hot breakfast with a great choice. Secure car parking an added bonus in Rye when many properties have no car park. Very convenient for walking into town where there are plenty of restaurants -but book first as it can get very busy. Would highly recommend, especially if you book a room at the back.
