Reviewed By Nikki SThe staff were incredibly friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was lovely to be greeted with a smile every time you passed reception. The rooms are lovely with incredible views. The beds were really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food was incredible…that alone would be worth the stay. I can’t rate this hotel highly enough, it’s head and shoulders above all the other hotels I’ve stayed in on our current trip around Europe.

Reviewed By Raoulr89We had 2 nights in this hotel. It has friendly personnel and also a bar and restaurant. Breakfast was extensive, bread sometimes little bit hard. The rooms were nice, with a good bed and okay shower. Nice comfortable balcony. Parking can be a problem at the hotel itself because there are also a lot of restaurant guests. On a couple of minutes ja public parking for free.

Traditional hotel Lilie in Höfen near Reutte offers holiday pleasure in familiar, comfortable atmosphere. Stay in cosy comfort rooms with shower / WC, satellite TV, telephone, free WIFI and partly with balcony. Our fully equipped apartment leave nothing to be desired. Our cosy hotel/inn is located at the foot of our local mountain called Hahnenkamm, close to the town of REUTTE - the gateway to Tirol. Tradition is very very important to us - our house is already owned by the family Tauber since 1911. Even the exterior conveys that the hotel Lilie is a house with style and history. The family sets a high value on individual care and intensive contacts to their guests. Many hiking and cycling trails can be accessed directly from our family hotel in a few minutes. The royal castles of King Ludwig the 2nd, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau in the Allgäu are only about 25 km and Linderhof 30 km distant. 20 km away is the highest mountain of Germany the famous “Zugspitze “.

Reviewed By kriss3590Despite the cracking floor in room and hall way, this is a very good hotel, just over the border with Germany, to take a break during your holiday trip or visit the close by "Burgenwelt Ehrenberg". After hours check-in is available by use of the safe box (inform the hotel and pin code will be provided to get your key from the safe box after hours). There are many available parking spaces. The breakfast buffet was very good, so was the coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't forget to ask the staff for your "Lechtal Karte" to get discounts and free entries for various activities in the neighberhood.

Reviewed By Alexander DCheick-in service is very nice, you get all necessary info about the nearest shops and restaurants. The interior of the hotel and the room is great. Breakfast offers good variety. The windows are sound-proof. Free parking on the street. There is no elevator; no fridge; not possible to enjoy quiet evening at the balcony because of the noise from the highway; no playground for children.

Can't recommend highly enough
Reviewed By 2014Momof2I stayed here for just one night whilst traveling around Germany - we decided to visit the Austrian Alps. It wasn't enough as it turned out. I rented a car to go there and when we were 10 minutes from our guesthouse I got a flat tire!! It was 6.30pm and I had no 'AA rescue' number. There was no spare tire in the rental car - just a tire sealant, which made no impact on the big hole in my tire. As luck would have it, a man was parked beside who knew the lady who owns the guesthouse. He rang her and said she would pick me up, which she did promptly. The following morning her husband drove me to my car, brought the wheel to a garage and put the new wheel on the car for me. What was potentially a disaster really showed me how good some people are (I had two kids with me so didn't fancy being stuck somewhere). In terms of the accommodation itself, the guesthouse is simply lovely in a stunning location. The double bed was massive - both children ended up sleeping in it with me. The mattress and pillows were lovely and firm. In my two weeks of traveling through Germany, this was the best breakfast we had - everything was fresh and the owner is really lovely and friendly and has perfect English. It's beside the ski slopes so I will definitely return and spend more time here, either in summer or winter.

Excellent value, high dining quality and very professional hosts
Reviewed By Chris BStayed for a couple of nights during a "Magic Castles" trip. We enjoyed cycling by the river Lech with electric bikes provided by the Hotel. Dining was good Austrian standard and the rooms are spacious. Well trained and helpful staff as you would expect in Austria and very helpful owners.

Good base
Reviewed By gillynevWe stayed here for two nights on our European tour. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and any drinks we wanted through the day or evening were made available to us. Lots of good places to visit, the best, in my opinion, was Plansee, a fantastic aquamarine lake with views out of this world.

Nice pension, clean and quiet
Reviewed By pascalpierreI stayed at the gasthaus for 2 nights, room 6. It's a single ensuite on the first floor. No views really. Bedroom is adequate and clean with massive furniture. Bathroom was nice with shower and toilet. The main drawback was people's smoke coming from the second floor. The hosts were ok...the woman was a bit over friendly at breakfast time, telling where people should sit, etc...I don't really like it when people ask you every five minutes if breakfast is ok...anyway. breakfast was nice and good quality. Not sure if I would stay there next Time...even though the price paid is fair. €100,- for two nights CASH. They don't accept bankcards..., which is quite an oddity. Parking is in from the house but if you return late, all the lots will be taken...nice stay though.
