JJ Beach Resort is located right on Aow Yai beach, also well known as Long Beach. Our beach restaurant is very popular with regulary guests and we like to offer you our delicious local food and daily fresh seafood as well. Also we do offer some international dishes on our menu and BBQ as well. More over this we like to offer you some of our yummy cocktails, espacially to enjoy the sunset or to end up your lovely day and dinner. All our bungalows do have WLAN and attached bathroom with western toilet and shower, a big comfy double bed and a huge veranda to enjoy your privacy and time away from the beach as well. The beach itself is more than 3 km long and is perfect for walking and sunbathing or playing frisbee or other beach games. We are very looking forward to welcoming you soon at JJ Beach Resort.

Reviewed By AnnaShallJJ is sited in Long Beach almost seaview. The bugalow are very basic but due Covid we only payed 200 baht per night. Normally I prefer better accommodation but we had not money so this was the cheapest place.

Staff are very nice. "Nong Aom" is very cute. Take care of every detail. The rooms and facilities are complete by the sea, surrounded by mangroves. It is a place that has more hornbills, eagles, and birds. There are forests, mountains and large trees that are perfect. If there is a chance, it must be returned again. Reviewed By wheres_p_beenLucky resort is one of the better but very basic places to stay on Payam. Set a 5 minute walk from the beach front it is a great location with the bungalows being in the shaded area all day. Inside the bungalow there is a double bed, a fan, medium sized mirror and a fridge. The bathroom is an outdoors bath room/wet room which was quite nice to be outside whilst showering. The only downfall is two plug sockets. There are 8 bungalows for guests, only 3 where occupied during our stay so the area was nice and quiet. We met the owners once who were very welcoming and invited us over for a drink. The bungalows are a 10 minute walk from some restaurants and a local shop selling again basic products (water, crisps, some uk branded products, mini shampoo etc ) There is mostly always someone in the bar area if you need any help. If you are looking for luxury then this isn’t the place for you however, if you are comfortable living in a a very basic way for your time on payam this is a great place to stay.

Schnorkeling in Surin Island

The trip is well organized, the staff friendly and competent, the catering very good on board, and the equipment is very good. Only the snorkeling places are behind expectation , we had perhaps only 15 m of visibility , many of the coral dead or dying and very few fish to see , no larger fish at all, or any other snorkeling highlight. We found Surin Islands disappointing . Further more , it is important to understand, that there are NO other snorkeling opportunities out of Ko Phayam . If you like to snorkel , Ko Phayam is not your place. In general, Mr Gao/Mr Trip seems to be a very good choice for bungalow renting and beach access , but we stayed elsewhere.
