Reviewed By Christian VThis is a good rate quality-price to stay in Paramaribo. I had a clean room and hot water. Also, I stayed with my boyfriend (gay couple) in a room, and not having problem at all. I recommend to the guesthouse to leave a sheet with useful information like taxi numbers, and currency exchange-rates. If you want breakfast I really recommend the closest cafe CY coffee.

Grand Café ZIN & Guesthouse is a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and guesthouse. The place is in the middle of the city with lots of attractions within walking distance.There's a kitchen with national and international food, a swimming pool for every age, a nice bar, a pool table and free WiFi in the whole building.

Reviewed By LmgreenerWe rented 3 of the upstairs bedrooms for our party of 5 in the S-Villa B&B apartment close to downtown Paramaribo. The apartment was very clean, provided reliable Wifi, a convenient kitchen, small living room, bath & a half, front balcony overlooking the street and a lovely back patio area to converse, eat & enjoy the rain. Our hosts provided many breakfasts, washed clothing, and provided transportation to restaurants, sightseeing around Paramaribo and even to French Guiana at a nominal charge. Thanks staff & New friends at S-Villa!

Old colonial building, excellent location, good price
Reviewed By rtenhoorThe old building is a bit run down, but is located right in the center of Paramaribo. We stayed for about a week in room #5 (with door to balcony). The room rate was very good. We used the balcony a lot. Also, we used to take a little dive in the small backyard swimming pool in the afternoon to cool down. Friendly staff. This hostel is excellent for an authentic Paramaribo experience.

Reviewed By 125pimdAfgelopen februari 2022 zijn wij voor een (werk) vakantie naar Paramaribo, Republiek Suriname afgereisd en hebben geruime tijd in de Prins Hendrik Suites verbleven. Nou, ik kan zeggen: het was een heerlijk verblijf! Twee sympathieke gastheren, Dinesh en Bart, die de gasten volledig op hun gemak stellen en voor wie geen enkele vraag teveel is. Zeer behulpzaam en uiterst voorkomend. Een prachtig pand met achtertuin, zitjes en een passend bad waar desgewenst afkoeling kan worden gevonden. Er zijn verschillende suites, die ieder afzonderlijk een lust voor het oog zijn, funtioneel mooi zijn ingericht en uiteraard van elk gemak voorzien. De gratis Wifi werkt optimaal. Het optioneel bij te boeken ontbijt was ruim en de keuze rijk. Elke ochtend verraste de gastheer ons met een plaatselijke Surinaamse lekkernij, echt heerlijk! En natuurlijk te nuttigen op het aanwezige balkon. Prins Hendrik Suites is centraal gelegen in Paramaribo, en goed als uitvalsbasis te gebruiken. Ik heb geen aandelen in de zaak maar kan het een ieder die op zoek is naar een mooie rustige, centraal gelegen locatie, zeker aanbevelen!

A well priced bed and breakfast in a residential area of Paramaribo
Reviewed By christinebraganzaWe did extensive research for a comfortable one-night stay in a property other than a large, impersonal hotel. This property had just two reviews (both European) which read well. All in all, this bed and breakfast is spotlessly clean and although attractive, with well-appointed rooms, we were disappointed on a number of points. Although this property is classed as a bed and breakfast, it is not 'personal', in that the owner does not live in the property. However, she is very personable and relatively helpful. The property rents out all its rooms to visitors. So, apart from those visitors renting rooms, there is no-one on the premises. The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast is adequate. If you are Dutch and are used to 'no-frills' and no extras, this is the place for you. It is run with Dutch efficiency and minimalism. Make sure you carry your own water and extras, as there is no-one to provide these, if they are available on the property. There is a very efficient alarm system which allows one to safely 'barricade' oneself into one's room. Understandable if the owner does not sleep on the premises. Free wifi is available in the rooms. Bathrooms are small but well appointed and spotless. A disappointing element of the b&b is that if one has a late flight (to Europe), although one can leave one's luggage at the property, there is nowhere to freshen up - essential in the humidity of Paramaribo. There is no provision made or offered to use a spare room, although there is a small toilet for general use, but quite inadequate for a decent wash. There is an upstairs verandah which has hammocks and lounge chairs, for relaxation. The property is @ 25 minutes walk away from the Hermitage Mall, which is, apparently, the most fashionable location to shop in Paramaribo. Also in close proximity to the Mall are a number of great restaurants. Paramaribo city centre is @ 20 - 25 minutes drive. Flores is just 10 minutes from the smaller airport that has regular flights to Guyana. The International Airport, serving flights to Europe is a good 1 hour 15 minutes drive. So make sure you allow enough travel time.

Reviewed By marie mHotel un peu ex centré mais des bus en permanence pour se rendre au centre ville en 10mn. Personnel présent et très sympathique. Petit dej, bar, restaurant. Petite piscine bien agréable. Mais....chambres défraîchies (propres, literie aussi) et petites, hotel/cour intérieure et peinture de la piscine défraîchis, bar de nuit dans l'hôtel qui fonctionne toute la nuit (boules quies indispensables). 1 chambre pour 3 = 80€. A 3 ça va, mais seul c'est un peu cher vu le cadre. Mais le prix était peut-être l'effet nouvel an (?)
