With half a million people, Nuremberg is Bavaria's second largest city. While its history dates to the 11th century, Nuremberg is most often linked to the 20th century (specifically World War II). It first served as the site of many pre-war Nazi rallies, then was nearly leveled by Allied bombing, then was the site of the famous post-war Nuremberg Trials. The city has much to offer today's visitors, including the rebuilt Nuremberg Castle and the world-famous gingerbread at Hauptmarkt. Hansel and Gretel would have loved this place.

The hotel is located right in the centre (walking distance to most of the attractions) and very close to the main station. Breakfast - to be booked a day in advance if you like. The Gentleman at the reception - very nice and helpful!

Was there in mid-October for an exhibition for 3 nights. Reception was excellent both during check-in and out. Service at the only restaurant at the hotel needs some improvement both at dinner and breakfast. I wasn't served or even asked if I required coffee/tea for all 3 days stay but I did notice others got asked. Was also forced to sit at bar for dinner as I was told I had no reservations and the maitre d' actually clicked his tongue and raised his eyebrows and wanted to turn us away until I mentioned we're guests at the hotel and there's nowhere else to go unless you took a taxi out. The rooms are tiny but clean. The beautiful compounds made up for the tiny rooms. No lifts so you do have to drag your suitcases up the stairs.

We stayed one night, the room was well cleaned, the bathroom well-equipped, and the bed comfortable; there was no air con, but there was a fan instead which worked alright for us. Lighting was very nice and well-arranged too. Little gummibears from Haribo on the pillows was a nice touch. Parking was paid (8 euro a night), but easy to access and use. The only glitch was that according to the hotel info, checkout time was 11am, while the lady at the reception desk insisted very much we check out at 10 instead. Also, it would be nice to have something warm to drink in the evening, but there were only cold drinks available at the machine downstairs and no kettle in the room.

We can definately recommend this cute B&B! Travelling through Germany we were looking for a nice place to stay for one night in Nürnberg, close to the autobahn. Our criteria were to find a neat & clean hotel, with a restaurant (as we would arrive quite late) and breakfast service. This is the perfect place of you are passing through! Friendly staff, great restaurant, cute rooms and a nice biergarten.

Stayed for one day during Powtech 2016 exhibition on 19 Apr 2016. The hotel is 20 Euro from Messe and Train Station by taxi.Even though the reception was operational in the morning time room keys were left on the first floor table to check in. I have booked this B&B only 2 days before. Due to exhibition we had to pay high price ( Euro 130). Beds are small. It looks like small village and every thing closes by 1800 hrs. Avoid rooms on the 2nd floor as they look cramped because of roof slope. There is Italian Pizza outlet in 200 mtr opposite bus stop (57no). it is open till 2200 hrs and makes very good Italian Pizza.
