Great and varied breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, jam, yoghurts, cereals, cakes, fruits, +++) with excellent coffee + selection of cold drinks. Kids love the pool area. Nice Italian breakfast. 15 minutes walking distance to historical city center where you can find everything. The road up there is not the nicest but it's worth it to climb up.

Strange Experience
Reviewed By miabella8This place could be really lovely but it misses out in so many ways. First impressions are very mixed. Externally at first sight the building looks great and really interesting and quirky but once you enter the courtyard there are lots of areas where what seems to be rubbish has been allowed to accumulate. There was a pile of books in one area but there were packets of plastic cups there too which just looked a mess. There were some old dusty tables in a corner of the courtyard which again just looked a mess and as if they had simply been dumped there. The owner came across as being pretty disinterested in his guests and offered us no information about the area or any guidance re breakfast times etc. Our room was large, very clean but quite impractical. There were no drawers or shelves to put clothes. There were 2 mirrors but they were really tiny. The one above the enormous stone sink (formerly a trough?) in the bathroom was about 2 feet away from our eyes making make up application, shaving etc. very difficult. The pool is a great size but the area is scruffy. There was a fire pit full of rubbish including plastic bottles. The day we arrived my sun bed broke. The broken bed was still at the poolside at the end of our stay. The area where you park your car was also scruffy with lots of litter in the verge. The breakfast area under the olive trees was pretty but again there were bits of litter on the ground. The lady serving breakfast was very attentive and breakfast was fairly limited but good. So many of these things could so easily be addressed with a bit more care and attention. Sadly this place did not begin to compare with any of the other places in which we stayed and we would not choose to stay here again.

Reviewed By RoseandTrevorI’ll start with the negative, so I end on the positive. There is no stair lift. There is no onsite free parking, it’s first in best dressed around the town. You can park close, but you have to move your car by 6pm to somewhere else. There is no aircon. Unless you consider opening the door to the terrace ‘aircon’. No fan. I had to fix the sliding insect screen door as it was out of its track. Only to find that the screen mesh itself was ripped. The lady said that there was no one staying in the other room (there are only 2 rooms) but when we came back from dinner, a half naked guy was putting his stuff in the communal fridge. Strangely, there is a jug for making coffee or tea, but no cups, not even any glasses if you want a glass of water!! I have travelled extensively and never have I come across that. There were blood stains on the sheets. We took the sheet off. There are 2 spare pillows in the wardrobe but no pillow cases. There are glass blocks in the adjoining wall to separate the two rooms. If the neighbours have their lights on, it filled our room with light. Breakfast is just a voucher for coffee and croissant at near by cafe. Cafe owner speaks some English and is friendly. The small fridge is very loud and can be heard clearly from our room. There is a table in the room that is either made for very short people or Japanese as its only about a foot off the ground. No good for emails or any work or eating. The bedside lamp shade was sitting on a 45 degree angle when we walked in which was the first inclination that things were not going to be good. I fixed it. On a positive note, the views are great. Wifi is good.

Reviewed By Paola MBed & Breakfast situato un pò fuori dal centro di Monte Sant'Angelo ma in posizione panoramica sulla valle e lungo la strada che porta al Santuario (a circa 7 km). Propone camere semplici e abbastanza spaziose (suggerisco la camera con balcone), dotate di Tv, frigorifero, wi-fi gratuito e bagno con doccia. A disposizione degli ospiti la piscina condivisa con l'altra struttura (con orari di accesso). Disponibile parcheggio gratuito. Dalle foto di alcuni siti non avevo inteso che si trattasse di una struttura con appartamenti in una sorta di complesso, avevo inteso qualcosa di più isolato in campagna... La colazione a mio avviso è da migliorare, magari utilizzando prodotti tipici locali a km. 0. Bisogna indicare gli orari per motivi di capienza massima della sala (purtroppo avevamo la camera proprio vicino alla sala colazione e al mattino vi era molta confusione). La Sig.ra Lucia è molto disponibile per suggerimenti e consigli sulle attività, sui ristoranti, sulle spiagge, etc. Sicuramente una buona base per visitare il Gargano (parte sud).
