With its gridded boulevards and 1960s high-rise buildings, Milton Keynes stands out for its distinctly non-British urban planning. Beyond the concrete sprawl, quirky public artworks and an abundance of museums and cultural venues hint that this is one of the UK’s fastest growing cities.

Rachael was very helpful, and the food was amazing as usual. Very good facilities, car charging, good parking, and very clean throughout. The food choice was very good, we chose the steak and the trimmings etc were very good. The staff are very knowledgeable.

The White House provides comfortable accommodation in the pretty little village of Little Brickhill.Whether your visit is for business or pleasure, this Bed and Breakfast is ideally located. Conveniently placed a few miles outside of Milton Keynes, it is the perfect place to relax after a busy day. It is also perfectly situated for the many attractions that the area has to offer. Bletchley Park, once Britains best kept secret, is very close by, also Woburn (Golf Club and Safari Park. Restaurants, pubs, theatres and cinemas are not hard to find, and for the more energetic, there is rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding and indoor skydiving, as well as great cycle routes and countryside walks.
We stayed one night to go to a consert in Milton Keynes. The white house is a lovely B&B, with a nice garden in the back. The landlord and his wife were very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again if we go to the area.

Comfort and practicality are not overlooked either; all the beds have a memory mattress and are king size or larger, Smart TVs, walk-in showers - some have large deep baths too . The two bedroom annex has a full working kitchen, dining and sitting area. The two person studio has a kitchenette. Both are ground floor with level access and own patio dining. All rooms are light, airy and spacious. wi-fi, private parking and electric vehicle charging are all included,. For business people there are work desks - for everyone there is space to relax. Flexible check in available. Longer stay and no breakfast deals also - ask us. Dogs welcome.
We were lucky to come across South Lodge when we were looking for accommodation prior to leaving the UK for Hong Kong. We have been staying in Air BandBs since February and this has been a great choice. The accommodation is really spacious with many double height rooms making the place feel wonderfully bright and airy. South Lodge is immaculately clean and beautifully well appointed, filled with super high quality finishes and some unexpected quirky additions. It comes together to create a really superb place to stay. The owners are friendly and accommodating and have a fantastic eye for detail which will help make any stay a pleasure. The gardens are a delight, ample parking and good reliable Wi-Fi complete the package. Location is great for exploring the countryside (great walks on the doorstep), fantastic local gastro pub is a 5 minute stroll and shopping and other amenities close at hand too. We only wish we could have stayed a little longer. Highly recommended.

Had 2 nights at the hotel. Was down for the play off final at Wembley. Handy location for return train travel (£28 return to Wembley) . Stopped before. As always ,a great experience. Fantastic staff, great bar ( especially for sport). Room ensuite and spotlessly clean. Plus a really great fresh cooked breakfast. Wouldn't stop anywhere else in mk. Dave, partner and staff couldn't be more helpful.

Privately owned Free House dating back to 1741, in the quiet village of Sherington offering a varied range of real ales and ciders together with a selection of wines to accommodate all tastes. Food available from snacks and tapas to full meals in the bar or restaurant. A relaxing cosy atmosphere for both drinking and eating. Four individually designed bedrooms with en-suite facilities situated in a converted barn, opposite the main building. The perfect base for a business or leisure stay. This is a brilliant place to hold a wedding reception, party or a celebration!
Absolutely superb. Great room, very clean, easy access and everything you need. Breakfast was exceptional in the morning, so much choice. The friendly owner even helped us with car parking and accommodated us despite it being their festival time. (sausage & cider yum!) Our stay could not have been better. 10/10 ??

My friend and I booked to stay one night. On arrival we asked where to check in and got a bit lost. The woman at the bar angrily snapped at us. She then asked the name of the booking. I have a foreign sounding name which she made a face at and couldn't find it in the book. She asked me to look for her so I did and pointed at my name. She then proceeded to have a go at me for helping her find it even though she asked me to??? She then said in a very hostile manner "you and I, we're really not getting along are we?" whilst staring me down. I felt really intimidated and uncomfortable and when she finally showed us to the room I ended up crying because I'm just not used to being spoken to in that way. The 2 stars is because the room was actually very nice and well stocked with tea and coffee but in terms of basic human decency it gets a zero.

So despite the reviews I had a lovely stay here ! Reception team where lovely, breakfast was really nice, could easily find where the room was... Speaking of the room.. I was very impressed ! Nice and spacious, clean, large comfy bed I hated leaving in the morning ? SKY TV! Bathroom was nice to especially with the light up mirror what a nice touch. The only downside for me was the 10am checkout as other hotels I've stayed in its always been afternoon check out

The first thing that stuck my partner and I is the host, Chloe. She was such a warm and personable host, really going out of her way to make us feel welcome even though it was a fleeting visit for us. She is easy to get in touch and is very accomodating. Which we realised was a massive shame, as the Woodleys is such a lovely B&B, we would have liked to have spent more time there! It is an equisite cottage, quite romantic, with lovely decor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Perfect for a little getaway in the country. Make sure you do get the breakfast - we didn't and ended up with some food envy seeing the other guests meals! Only thing I'd say is it is quite difficult to reach, but Chloe does give detailed instructions. Maybe they would benefit from a "what.three.words" location as well?
