Building work off puting
Reviewed By pannsyI booked this room for a two day family stay,but on arrival was really disapointed with a number of factors about the accomodation: There was signifigent building work going on to the part of the building that our room looked out onto,when I opened the net curtians there was a man hammering directly level with our window instead of the advertised garden view . The room was clean but small and appeared to have partition walls so I anticipated that noise from building work Would be heard as it was in close proximity to our room.As you couldn't open the nets curtains (because of lack of privacy) ,it felt rather claustrophobic. The place appeared to be recently converted and in the proccess of further conversion downstairs. There was no one present on arrival at the specified time ,after 20 minutes a member of staff arrived ,his manner was brusque and rather inpatient .(he didn't speak english and my German is basic) Once we had viewed the room we decided to leave immediately and book somewhere else .we raised our concerns with another member of staff ,who later stated he was the owner ,but he would not offer a refund in response to our compliant about the building work. The room had no kettle and there was no cafe close by. The street is on outskirts of town ,and the street seemed to have a semi industrial feel with small business units and houses, access to the building is round the back and not immediately obvious as other properties are there too. It's a long up hillwalk to it and about ten euros by taxi. This is really like cheap hostel accomodation and not in a brilliant location if you want to be close to the lovely sights of Meersburg.

Kurztrip mit dem Fahrrad
Reviewed By MerzMaSchönes kleines Hotel. Wir waren hier für 2 Nächte und hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei. Die man über Nacht auf die Sonnenterrasse stellen kann die von außen nicht zugänglich ist. Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Hotel, hier kann man auch gut sein Fahrradträger dran lassen und brauch keine Angst zu haben, das einer dagegen fährt. Das Frühstück wird sehr nett angerichtet und ausstreichend. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und im Ursprünglichen Still des Hauses. Wenn das Fenster zu ist hört man von der Straße nichts. Der Empfänger war sehr sympathisch und gab auch gute Empfehlungen.

Nice, quiet hotel with lake view
Reviewed By Pandora_MucThe hotel is very well situated, the rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. As in most hotels, the single room is relatively small, but it had a view over the lake which was nice. The breakfast is good and rich. It offers a good variety of meat, cheese, fish and a variety of eggs. I also appreciate their hygiene concept during the corona crisis (only one person at a time at the breakfast buffet). The only odd thing was, that there was no one in the hotel apart from the chambermaid upn my arrival in the early afternoon, so I was greeted over the interphone and received instructions on how to open the key cabinet, which contained the key to my room. Only 15 minutes later I received a call and was asked to come downstairs, to fill in my registration.

Wir kommen gern wieder - als Gäste, die auch übernachten. Echter Tipp - auch für Familien mit Kindern. Einfach wohlfühlen am Bodensee mit dem Team vom Schützen bzw. der Seepromenade!

Cozy place
Reviewed By ChrisR0208it is a very nice, small hotel directly on the waterfront. The rooms are clean and lovingly furnished. The view from the window is fantastic - directly on the lake. The staff is very friendly. You should park outside Meersburg. You can reach everything on foot. I recommend a visit to the small bar in the evening

Reviewed By Voyager57493192376We spent a lovely 3 nights here. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast was ok too. We spent our time in the family suit with views of the lake. Absolutely happy with everything and we would comeback with out hesitation.

In the old town of Meersburg, see the guest house Seliger. Quiet, but central. We let 2 double rooms and a Famlienzimmer with 4 beds in 2 rooms.

Klein aber fein
Reviewed By kaschabaschaEine etwas versteckte Pension, die jedoch sehr zentral gelegen ist. Sowohl die Supermärkte als auch die Altstadt sind zu Fuß, mit dem Rad oder mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Wir sind in unserem Kurzurlaub in Österreich als auch in der Schweiz gewandert (1-2 Stunden Autofahrt). Auch sind wir einmal mit dem Rad nach Konstanz gefahren (ca. 55 KM). Wer will kann aber auch direkt die Fähre nehmen, die wir auf dem Rückweg genutzt haben. Die Pension hat also eine super Lage. Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben ein leckeres Frühstück serviert. Zimmer waren sauber und schön warm. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

Meersburg is an amazing place and this is an excellent place to stay
Reviewed By billontheroad2018A really great B&B. The whole place was spotlessly clean and tidy. The room was extremely comfortable, big bed, easy chairs and super shower room. Loads of storage space. A short bus ride into town. The owners could not have been more welcoming, as were the staff at breakfast! Breakfast was typical local fare, plenty of it, fresh and good choice....great start to the day. Loads of places to to eat nearby. Very quiet location on the outskirts of town . Meersburg was a real gem fantastic food, connections to other beautiful towns and the amazing garden island. The boats were very civilised ... could have stayed on such a pleasure. The beach and pool just a short walk from the harbour front is a great place to spend the day relaxing. Next time we go we will stay longer than the four nights.
